Each Memory, A Bigger Flame

Flicking through each one of these pictures brings another painful memory, wether it is sad or not. Burning them is the option I have really. I continue to dwell on which to burn first so I just chose the earliest.

"Xantia it's time to get up for ur first day of school honey"
I awake with my mum lightly shaking me. I opened my eyes and jumped straight out of bed which caused my mum to laugh at my happiness.

I run over to my closet with my mother following closely behind me. My mum picks what I wear and I don't even fight her because she picked my favourite clothes. A white T-shirt and a some black trackie dacks. (Track pants)

i run to the and sit on my special chair while jumping in my seat. My mum walks over with a small plate of pancakes with butter put on each single one.

"Thanks mommy" i say before shoving the food straight into my face. "Xantia eat properly please" mum says before walking out of the room.

I continue to eat like a pig and once I'm finished I stab on my tip toes and place my place on the sink. I walk in the Living room and pull on my black socks.

i pull on my black sneakers and mum walks in holding my bag packed with every thing I need. I pull the straps over my shoulders and run to the front door.

"MUMMYYY!" I yell while jumping up and down in front of the door. my mum just laughs while walking up to the door and opening it. I run out to the red car and hope in my special seat while mum buckles me in.

"the wheels on the bus go ROUND AND ROUND!" I Sang even though we won't on a bus all the way to school. Once we arrived mum un-buckled me and I went to run off but my mum held me back.

"Have fun sweetie" she said while kissing my forehead. I run through the front door and up to the lady with a sticker on her that says 'Teacher'

I pull at her sleeve and she turns to face me. She looks really pretty "I'm Xantia" I say with a big smile on my face. "Hi Xantia I'm miss Fawkner" she says while smiling at me.

"You look welly pwetty" I said while pointing at her. She just smiled and chuckled. "Why thank you. Ok u can go sit next to frank if u like. FRANK RAISE UR HAND PLEASE" I saw a hand raise and I walked over to it holding the straps of my bag.

i sit down and place my bag in front of me. "Hi I'm Xantia" I say while smiling and looking at him. He smiles back "I'm frank" I just smile at him.

"Do u wanna pway at lunchy time?" He asked me while looking at me. "Wes!" I said while hugging him. He just hugged me back and we smiled at each other.

"we be fwiends?" I asked while looking at him. "YES!" He yelled and it made me giggle. "ok class please be quite..."
i can't wait to tell mummy I made a friend.

I smile as I watch the photo burn away to nothing. That was the day I met frank and made my first friend. that may have been one of my happiest days.
