Demolition Lovers

~Skylar's POV~

'WAKE UP!' I'm on the floor in my room, laying in a warm crimson red liquid in what seems to be my blood. I look over to see my step mom standing in the doorway with a pistol in her hands.

'I thought you would have died from the blood loss, but it seems I am wrong'

I try to move myself away from her but I can't. No matter how hard I struggle my body won't move an inch. I cry in fear knowing this is the end.

'I've come to finish the job'

I feel a slight squeeze to my hand before my eyes flutter open.

Damn it's bright. Once my eyes adjust to the brightness, I notice i'm in a room filled with white. There is another squeeze to my hand and what seems like someone murmuring. I tilt my head to the side to find Gerard, tears rolling down his pale cheeks.

"Please Skylar, please wake up" I squeeze his hand in return and his head snaps up.

"Sky!" He gets up and hugs me. I groan in pain. "Oh sorry" Gerard says as he sits back down.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him quite confused. Why would anyone care about me?

"I - I uh" He is soon cut off by the door opening to a man in scrubs.

"Hi Skylar, I'm Dr. Hinman, You are finally awake!" I look over at Gerard, who looks at me sympathetically.

"How long have I been out?"

"You have been asleep for a week"

I stare in shock. A week?
