Demolition Lovers

~Skylar's POV~

Frank and I rush into the classroom, panting like dogs.

"And where have you two been?" exclaims my new English teacher Mrs. Monroe.

"Sorry Mrs. Monroe I was showing the new girl around." Frank said, hoping we wouldn't get detention.

"I will let it slide this time because you're new, but if you're ever late again, you know the consequences." I was relieved. Who wants detention on their first day right? I made my way to the back of the classroom with Frank before we took our seats.

The time seem to crawl by as I doodled in my notebook not even paying attention to the boring lesson Mrs. Monroe was giving on 'The Iliad'. Soon the period was over and I followed Frank to our next class.

~ Time elapsed ~

Finally, lunch. We sat down at a table when a kid with dark brown hair and glasses came up to us,

"Hey Mikes!" Frank patted the seat next to him for 'Mikes' to sit down. "Oh sorry, Mikey Skylar, Skyar Mikey." Frank moved his hands back and worth between us as he said our names.

"Hi Skylar"

"Hi Mikey, you can call me Sky"

"Okay" I noticed he was shy, but it didn't bother me.

"Hey Mikey do you think it would be ok if Sky came to your house after school? I mean since we were going to hang out anyways..."

"Sure"

"So, Sky, wanna come over to Mikey's house with us to hangout?" I could see the excitement in his eyes, and I just couldn't say no.

"Sure, I'll just meet up with you guys after school?" I guess I'll just tell my step mom that I was getting some extra help since I started a little later into the school year.

"Great! we will meet you at the front of the school and then we will walk ok?" Frank and Mikey both seemed to be happy I decided to join them, and I was happy to have made some friends.

"Sound's like a plan!"
