Demolition Lovers

~Skylar's POV~

I woke with a start. My body was covered in sweat, my breaths were short, and my heart raced. I must have woken up Gerard because he soon sat up and rubbed my back and asked, "Skylar, what's wrong?"
He held me close while I tried to calm myself down. He kept repeating stuff like, 'Shh shh', it's ok Skylar', 'It's ok'. Once I finally calmed down he lifted my chin up and asked, "Skylar did you have a nightmare?" I nodded and buried my head into his chest.

"what was it about?"

"What happened with my mom"

"It's over now, don't you worry, I will - I mean, Mikey and I will protect you."

I couldn't help but smile a little, thinking that he had feelings for me and I knew at this point I had feelings for him too.

We soon got up even though it was 8 am. Gerard and I were making breakfast when we heard foot steps coming down the stairs.

"Hey sleepyhead" I tease. Mikey shuffles into the kitchen, and seats himself at one of the bar stools. His hair is all messed up, and he looks like he has just been ran over by a car.

"Good morning" Gerard says as he hands Mikey a plate of pancakes. His face immediately lights up as he starts to dig into his pancakes.

"Hey Sky you wanna go to the mall with me later this afternoon?" Mikey asks. "I'm sure you need more clothes than the ones you brought"

"Sure! Thank you so much!" I run over and hug him. I look up and Gerard has a look of jealousy plastered on his face, which immediately disappears when he notices i'm looking at him. I smirk. This is going to be a fun day.

I'm thinking of scraping this story because I don't really know where to go with it...... sorry.
