FRANK’S P.O.V
I wondered what Gerard was thinking of… I couldn’t help but think of the fact that his brother said ‘guys’. Was Gerard gay? Or did he mean like ‘guys’ as in like ‘hey guys’? Gerard was bundled up in his own thoughts, and it made me laugh.
“Gerard,” I began, deciding I would ask him myself. “Are you gay?”
The blood that rushed to Gerard’s cheeks proved I was correct.
“…Maybe,” Gerard whispered, in a tiny voice, glancing at his shoe-laces.
I couldn’t help but smile. Gerard liked guys… I was so happy.
“Hey, it’s fine, don’t be embarrassed, it’s totally normal,” I grinned at him.
“Yeah, right. I wanted to keep it quiet because my last school mocked me for it,” Gerard bit his lip; he often did that when he was nervous or was about to cry.
“Well, they are utter twats,” I muttered, standing closer to Gerard.
“You swore,” Gerard weakly replied, almost causing his lip to bleed because he was biting it so hard. “I’m sorry that I cry all the time, I’m a wimp,” And was all it took for the tears to come rolling, little droplets of crystal clear water, sliding down his beautiful face. I knew I shouldn’t take advantage of his little ‘turn on’, however, I couldn’t resist it… I sure was an idiotic tutor whose mind was driven crazy by his own, sexy student… Yup, that’s me. I pulled Gerard close, and he sobbed in my chest. Soon, he was just sniffing, and I knew I couldn’t resist… I ran my hands through his hair, slowly and gently. A little, musical moan escaped Gerard’s tempting lips, and he gripped my shirt tighter, and pressed my body closer to his. Oh my god, that moan was so fricking sexy, oh my god. And now, I’m pressed against him, fuck.
“I’m sorry, I told you not to do that,” Gerard whimpered, his hand running down my side. “It turns me on…”
This time, it was my turn to blush. My cheeks went a deep scarlet, in shame.
“Oh yeah,” I acted casual, we had separated and I turned away from him, normally. “I apologise, I forgot about that. I won’t do it again…”
“It’s fine… It just feels so good…” The way Gerard said it, sent shivers of pleasure down my spine. I didn’t reply; I didn’t know how too! I didn’t have the strength too.

Sunday afternoon came around as quick as lighting for me, mainly because I had so many scholars’ papers to mark and time usually goes fast when I mark them. I finished my large mug of black coffee, and then grabbed my plain shoulder bag, stuffing some random learning books that we probably won’t need into it, then darting outside, knowing I’d have to walk because of those woods.

I knocked on Gerard’s door, and there was rumbling sounds.
“WAIT A SECOND,” Gerard’s voice called. “Mikey, where did you put the keys!?” He yelled, I laughed to myself. Gerard was so cute. There was more cracking and banging, and then the door finally swung open. Gerard was wearing skinny black jeans and a Black Flag top. I smiled at him, nodding and stepping in. Gerard returned the smile, slightly. A thin boy with rectangular glasses and a grey beanie was stuck to Gerard’s side.
“Hi, I’m Gerard’s younger brother,” He held an awkwardly shaped hand out for me to shake. I shook it. Gerard chuckled to himself.
“Go turn off the Batman film, Mikes,” Gerard instructed.
“I haven’t finished watching it,” Mikey rolled his eyes.
“Me either, but Fra-” Gerard halted himself. “Mr Iero is here,” He corrected. Mikey strode into the lounge and squashed himself on the sofa.
“You can watch it after,” He slurped a drink and eyed me slightly, a knowing look on his face. “Gerard likes you a lot, you know. He thinks you-”
“Michael,” Gerard’s tone was extremely warning, and Mikey shrivelled into the sofa. Gerard blushed, slightly.
“Anyway, follow…” Gerard stepped down the cold, crumbling flight of stairs to his basement.
“What was that about? Can’t you tell me what you think of me, huh?” I joked.
Gerard remained silent as he scrambled onto his desk chair.
“I want to do something,” Gerard stated. “For you.” He paused. “Can you sit on my bed and stay still?”
“Err, okay.” I did as I was told, and he flicked open his sketchbook. “Can I talk still?”
“For now,” Gerard’s eyes kept flashing from his paper to me as I continued to ramble on. “Okay now silence,” I zipped my mouth shut. A few minutes later, Gerard stared at his work, then me, then ripped the paper from his book and scribbled on it quickly. He handed it to me.
“Dear Frank Iero,
It’s a thank you for everything.
From, Gerard Way.”
I grinned to myself. It was a sketch of me. And it was extraordinary.
“This is amazing,” I breathed, gazing at it still, then to Gerard who was blushing at the compliment.
“Thank you,” He whispered.
“You need to stop thanking me,” I instructed. “You don’t need to thank me for this, it’s my pleasure,”
“I know it’s your job, but you’ve helped me a lot,” Gerard shifted slightly. “I hope the drawing isn’t that bad…”
“It’s brilliant! It’s perfect! I’m going to frame it,” I told him the truth, I placed it on his box television at the end of his black double bed, making a mental note to bring it home later. “And, actually, I don’t have to do extra tutoring or help you in this kind of way, I just want too… I like spending time with you; you’re an amazing, unique person.” I pulled my gaze up to Gerard’s, and our eye contact was insane, seriously. His cheeks went a light pink, and he bit his lip, anxiously.
“Thank you,” He mumbled.
“I told you not to say thank you,” I smirked. Gerard rolled his eyes.
“Can I ask you a question?” Gerard queried, his voice a little bit higher than usual.
“Of course,” I shrugged.
“Today…Can we, err, hang out? You know… Just like… Oh, nevermind. Stupid me. You’re my tutor; you wouldn’t want to hang out with me, nevermind.” Gerard muttered, pacing around the room, slowly.
“Hey!” I held his wrist for him to stop pacing, gently. “I will hang out with you, anything for you… If it makes you feel happier… I’ll get to know you properly, then it will be easier for the extra tutoring. Seriously, I don’t mind. I just said I like spending time with you…” I spoke quickly, watching Gerard’s grin grow.
“Thank you,” Gerard hugged me, tightly. I smiled and relaxed into his embrace, sighing softly.
“I told you not to say thank you, Gerard,” I repeated. Gerard just giggled, his arms still wrapped around me.
“I’m not letting you go, by the way,” Gerard squealed. Ah, he was so adorable.
“Gerard,” I attempted to use my best warning-teacher voice, and he pulled his arms away from me, wriggling his nose in dislike.
“So… Do you like comics?” Gerard queried, gathering his stack of comic books.
“Yeah, I love them.” I told him, honestly.
“I create some, well, try too…” Gerard told me, and he showed me loads of his favourite comics, and some he created, and other items. He also asked me if I liked horror flicks, and he presented to me his range of horror flicks, and films, all kept in good condition, no matter how old they were. It was getting dark outside.
“I had my tea at lunchtime, by the way, but if you’re hungry, I could go ask my mum to prepare something,” Gerard explained.
“Na, I’m fine,” I spoke, watching awe as he ran his fingers across his large stack of CDS. “What band?”
“Black Flag,” I stated, my lips curling into a smirk, as he beamed at me, then his top. He inserted the CD, then spun around in his desk chair.
“I wish I had more friends like you,” Gerard sighed.
“You do, those guys called Ray and Bob, and you have your brother,” I exclaimed.
“But, they aren’t like you,” He whispered. “You’re different,”
My heart melted. My eyes softened, and I gave him a kind smile.
“You’re the best, you mean a lot to me. You’ve helped me through loads of things… You don’t judge me, even if I am gay,” Gerard’s eyes were glued to mine.
“Why would I judge you? I would be hypocrite if I did.” I admitted.
“Wait, what?” Gerard appeared startled, and then I just realised what I said.
“Yeah, um…” I may as well come clean. “I’m gay, too…” I shrugged; attempting to act like it was no big deal. “It’s just normal.”
“Oh, I thought you’d be into girls,” Gerard appeared thoughtful for a moment before saying, “Still, thank you for not judging me,”
“It’s fine, Gerard,” I rested my back against the wall beside his bed, and Gerard plonked himself next to me.
“You’re amazing, sir.” Gerard flashed me a grin, and then placed his head on my shoulder, smiling to himself, like he was pleased. I quirked an eyebrow. “Or Frank, whatever,” Gerard added, quickly.
“It’s really annoying that I can’t do anything with your hair, I like your hair,” I laughed, shakily.
“Hmm…” Gerard grunted, his head falling onto my lap. I smiled at him as he got himself comfortable, his hands gripping at my shirt again, his head nuzzling into my chest. He practically on my lap, but I didn’t care. I wrapped an arm around him as he shut his eyes.
“Goodnight, Frank,” Gerard whispered, his hair sprawled across my chest like a black scarf.
“Goodnight, Gerard,” I muttered back, hearing his adorable noises in his sleep. I’m completely, utterly and unconditionally in love with him. I love him. Nothing will be able to stop that. Not even my career.
