Frerard is Real
Did He Break Up With Me?
Patrick's eyes left Gerard and Frank to the other couples. Jack was close to Alex, but the two seemed distant. "Jack, how was last night? You had mentioned to me that you and Alex would see a movie together."
Jack glared at Alex, "Tell him what happened after the movie, Alex."
Patrick could already feel his headache kicking in, "What happened?" He asked, getting his pen ready.
Alex wiped his sweaty palms on the side of his jeans, "Well..." He swallowed nervously, not making eye contact with Patrick, "A couple of female fans ran over and asked for a picture. Jack and I agreed but after, one of the girls-I'm pretty sure she was eighteen, hopefully-kissed my lips before running off giggling."
Patrick raised a brow, "That doesn't seem like your fault-"
Jack begun, "He forgot to mention that he held that girl close-"
"Bullshit." Alex emphasized.
It was silent.
Patrick kept his eyes on the two couples whose emotions were now filled with sadness and anger. Patrick gently smiled, "You two are the most compatible couple I have ever met. You both were meant to be!" Patrick grinned as he leaned back into his chair, "Jack, are you sure you know what you saw?"
Jack paused but confidently said, "Yes..." Jack paused, as if hesitating, but said, "And I'd appreciate if Alex left me alone for a while."
Alex looked up at him. His dark brown eyes were glassy, but Jack refused to look.
Patrick didn't reply. Everyone in the room was completely quiet due to the awkward "taking a break" thing between Alex and Jack. He instead turned his attention towards Kellin, Jaime, and Vic. Jaime's eyes were down onto the floor, his hands intertwined with each other, his lips tucked in. He didn't know how to act in such an awkward moment. Patrick finally asked, "So, how is everything going?"
Vic looked away from Alex, "Um...well, it's going to make things easier-I think. Kellin, tell him."
Patrick looked over to Kellin who sighed, "I got my wife pregnant."
Patrick rose his eye brows in surprise, "Wow..."
"She was in the mood. I said what I did every night which was, 'I'm too tired' but she insisted and I came inside her." Kellin shivered. He took in a deep breath, "I have decided to dedicate my life to her and our kid."
Gerard's eyes looked up at him, "But...but you're gay-what about Vic and Jaime? The ones you love?"
Kellin peered at Gerard over his sunglasses, "Sure I'll never be with the man I love, but I am willing to take care of my wife and the child whom I brought into this world. I'm not going to leave them father-less. I'm not selfish."
Gerard's heart stopped. He looked away, deep into thought. Am I being selfish?
Patrick's voice asked, "So...you're done?"
Kellin stood up from his chair and dragged it to the corner of the room. He then confronted Jaime and Vic, "It's over." He leaned down and kissed Vic's lips, passionately . Vic couldn't help himself but to place his hands on Kellin's dainty hips. Kellin pulled away but whispered, staring deep into Vic's eyes, "Love you. Don't forget that." He gave a faint smile. He walked over to Jaime and grinned before poking him on the nose, "Love you too."
Kellin smiled at Patrick, "Good luck with the rest, okay?"
Patrick was actually sad that Kellin was leaving. Sure, Kellin was being a big headache, but he was going to miss him. Patrick called after him, "Visit anytime!"
Kellin opened the doors before calling back, "You bet your ass I am." He winked before walking out, shutting the doors behind him.
Patrick looked back to Jaime and Vic, "Are you two leaving too?"
Vic looked over to Alex and the others, "We'll stick around. We could learn a few things."
Patrick smiled, "Wise choice."
Alan cleared his throat purposely, trying to get Patrick's attention, "U-hm." Patrick met Alan's eyes, but didn't say a word.
Alan rolled his eyes, "Thanks for asking," He sarcastically said. He added, "Austin tried. And failed. Again. Any great ideas, Mr. Stump?"
Patrick looked over to Austin whose eyes were planted on Alan. He could easily identify Austin's anger. Patrick asked, "How are you feeling, Austin?" And just like that Austin was back to his sweet self, "I feel like I could have done better..."
Alan sighed, "You're not the only one."
Patrick saw it again. The anger in Austin's eyes. Patrick wrote down, I have the best idea right now ;)
Patrick nodded, "Uh-huh. So what did he do wrong this time?"
Austin looked over to Patrick who was too busy paying attention to Alan. Alan said, "He could put it in but he could not do me rough-he can't even bite me hard enough-"
"You know what?" Austin's loud, serious voice scared the shit out of everyone in the room. Austin stood up, "I'm sorry but-no. You know what? No. I'm not fucking sorry. I'm not the type of guy that will fuck his man so hard that it will potentially hurt him. I am the type of guy that will buy his man flowers and tell him that we will adopt Chinese babies and live in fucking Atlanta." Austin placed his hands on both of Alan's arm chair, locking Alan in. Austin leaned in so close, that Alan could feel Austin's breath brush against his lips. Austin locked dead into Alan's eyes as he said, "Tonight there will be no fast, hard, intense sex." He leaned in closer, "Tonight we will have slow, passionate, sweaty, sex." Austin pulled back, but kept his eyes locked into Alan's, "Whether you want to, or not."
Everyone was quiet, not sure how to react to Austin's speech. Patrick was smiling like a psycho. He felt like a father, seeing his own son learn how ride a bike. He was proud. God damn, he was so proud.
Alan was frozen into his seat. Austin sat back down and smiled. Alan's jaw dropped before suddenly getting a tingle down his penis. He felt a sudden rush of lust.
Patrick's smile was larger than ever before, "Alright," He grinned, "We've lost a few, but we also gained a few." He sighed, his smile still in place, "Come back next week on Wednesday." He said, before clicking his pen away.
Gerard's heart was sinking as the word, 'selfish' repeated in his mind. Frank held onto his hand and led him out the door. Vic and Jaime followed behind, talking amongst each other. Austin proudly stood up from his chair as Alan admired him by his side. Alan bit his lower lip as Austin led the way to the parking lot.
Patrick was putting his stuff into his shoulder bag. Pen, check. He thought, Clipboard, check. He grabbed his coat smiling but stopped when he spotted Alex still in the room. His head was hanging low, his palms covering his face. Patrick's smile faded as he looked to the exit doors as he spotted Jack leaving the room.
Patrick asked softly to Alex, "Do you need a ride?"
~
Alex's head was against the car window as the rain trickled down. His eyes were glancing towards the passing trees and stop lights. Patrick drove in silence. He was thinking of something to say. He looked over to Alex, "Do you and Jack live together?"
Alex shook his head.
"Oh..."
Alex picked his head up and sighed, "He lives near me. I would usually visit him." His eyes were becoming blurry from his tears, "Did...did he break up with me? I'm still a little fuzzy about that." He tried to laugh, but it was weak and unconvincing.
Patrick didn't answer-Alex knew why. Alex shook his head before wiping his eyes, "I just thought Jalex would last longer."
Patrick parked the car in front of Alex's apartment. Alex smiled weakly, "Thanks for the ride."
Before Alex opened the door, Patrick grasped onto his arm. Alex looked at him, almost surprised. Patrick said as serious as he could, "Don't give up. I mean it. Don't give up. Do what you can to convince that man that you love him." Patrick released his arm.
Alex stared into his eyes for a few brief seconds before nodding. He exited the car and watched as Patrick fled the scene.
