Frerard is Real
"Do You Think Gerard Is Right?"
Alex and Jack walked side by side as they walked the streets of their small town. Alex shoved his hands into his pockets, "I really wish I could hold your hand right now," He muttered. Jack heard every word. He smiled a bit, "Me too." But the streets were filled with people, there was no way that they could. Alex scringed his nose, "All Time Low should really be on stage right now."
"So should Of Mice and Men, My Chemical Romance, Pierce The Veil, and Fall Out Boy but you don't see that happening."
Alex glanced over to Jack, "Do you think Gerard is right? Do you think maybe it's okay if we be open about everything? The fans deserve to know..."
Jack shrugged as his sneakers dragged along, "Maybe. But I'm not sure if I'm ready."
Alex stopped into his place, "Why not?"
Jack reflected Alex's movements, "You mean you're ready for the media to come crashing down on us?"
Alex looked down to his shoes, "I'm tired of hiding."
"I know..." Despite his small grief, Jack gave the warmest smile, "Now, come on. We don't want to miss the movie." He swung his arm around Alex's shoulder before leading him to the nearby theater.

Gerard parked the car across the street from his home-his home where Bandit was awaiting for his arrival, the home where his wife would be. He stared at the house from inside his car for the longest time. He had brought Frank along, but he was regretting it. His wife was already in pain, so why would she want to see the man he was having an affair with? Affair. Oh, how he hated the word. His heart would drop and shatter a bit every time his wife would say, 'affair' or 'cover up' or 'hate'.
Frank said softly, "Do you want to go back?"
Gerard shook his head as his hands tightened around the steering wheel, "No, I need to do this."
Frank asked, "Do you want me to come with you?"
Gerard shook his head again, "I don't think that's a good idea."
"So you brought me on a four hour ride just to make me wait in the car?"
"I'm sorry but..." His eyes saw the front door open. Lindsey stepped out and leaned against the door frame, her eyes staring at Gerard.
"N-nevermind, come with me." Gerard stammered.
Frank exited the car with Gerard. They walked across the empty street before stepping in front of Lindsey. She had her arms crossed on her chest. Her eyes were fixed on Gerard as he forced a smile, "Hey sweetheart...y-you look great."
Lindsey raised a brow, "Are you scared of your wife?"
Frank was behind Gerard, probably a few feet away, but could still hear every word.
Gerard swallowed the lump in his throat, and before he could reply, Bandit came running outside, "Daddy!" Gerard sighed in relief as he knelt down to hug his daughter. Gerard's stomach was filled with, what he described, rainbows and unicorns.
Bandit pulled away, giving Gerard a chance to inspect her quickly. She was wearing an over sized flannel with a Black Sabbath shirt underneath. He jeans were washed out, ripped. Her converse were neat, but torn up. Her hair was tucked underneath a beanie, with only one strand of hair falling out, almost covering her left eye.
Gerard smiled at his daughter, "I love you."
"Love ya too, daddy." She giggled, "And I missed you!"
Gerard grinned, "I missed you too!"
Bandit smiled before her eyes went passed Gerard to Frank. There was a spark in her eye, "Frankie!" She squealed before running towards him. Frank knelt down quickly before picking her up from the ground, "Bandit!" He squealed back as he spun her around. She gave him a warm hug, "Oh! I want to show you the games my mom bought me!" Frank released her before she grasped onto his hand and pulled him inside.
Gerard called after them, "Frank, watch over her!"
"Okay!" He called back.
Lindsey sat down on the cement, picking at her slippers. Gerard tucked his hands inside his leather jacket as he reflected her movements. Lindsey didn't meet his eyes, nor did Gerard. It was quiet before Lindsey said, "You and Frank, huh?"
Gerard nodded, "Yeah...listen, let's get to it-you want a divorce."
Lindsey's eyes locked into Gerard's. He couldn't make out what she wanted so he added, "Right?"
She tucked in her lips, "I don't know...I want to stay with you for Bandit's sake, and I could help you by being your cover up until you and Frank decide to come out-you two will come out, right?"
Gerard opened his mouth but shut it quickly. He shrugged.
She looked away, "Well, I want you to choose between two options. One, we file a divorce. It will cause Bandit pain, but me relief. Or two," She paused, "We will continue on this charade until you and Frank come out-but you have to come out eventually. When you announce it, I will say I was a part of it the entire time...even though that's not true..." Her voice drifted off. She re-gained her voice, "So," She added, "What will it be?"
Gerard told her what his option was, and it was settled.
The charade will continue.
