Just Another Frerard Romance

FRANK'S POV

I couldn't stop thinking about that strange kid from class. Gerard. What a strange name. Like an old man. He was cute though.. I still wonder what he was sketching.

I was walking home when I saw Gerard walking up ahead of me. I ran up to him, "Hey, you're that cool kid with the Misfits shirt." Gerard turned to me. Was that a blush I saw? "Yeah," Gerard said simply. I tried to keep up with him. My short legs were working overtime trying to keep up with Gerard who was trying to get away from me.

"I live over there," I said, pointing to a house down the street. It looked run-down: the paint fading and dead trees didn't help. I grimaced, hoping Gerard didn't think anything bad about me. Why did I care so much about what this kid thought about me? Looking at him, I could tell he was older than me, but I still want to call him a strange kid because of his young features. His black hair hung in his face covering his hazel eyes. God, how could anyone be so beautiful? "Looks like I live nextdoor," his voice snapped me out of my trance. "Oh.." I had no clue what to say next, but I knew I didn't want him to leave me.

"You like horror movies," he asked shyly. "Yeah," I said. "We should watch movies together sometime," Gerard barely whispered as he walked down his driveway, leaving me on the sidewalk. I stared blankly after him. "Cool," I said it even though he was gone.
