*Gerard’s POV*
As soon as Bert leaves Frank glares for a while and falls silent. What’s going on with him? I sigh. I hate when he’s upset.
“Come on. Follow me.”
I look up and see Helena. What does she want now? I stand and follow her outside.
“Into the shadows.” She instructs. I do as she asks so I can get back to lunch.
“Okay, Gerard, I have the GREATEST plan in the history of great plans! Wanna know what is it?” Helena dances around me in excitement. God. She can really be annoying sometimes. I nod and she continues.
“We, well you, are gonna get revenge.” She laughs. Revenge on whom?
“Everyone who ever caused you pain.” I completely forgot she can get into my heads and read my thoughts. Crap. You bitch stay out of my head.
“You know what else you’re gonna do?”
“You’re gonna do it with your friends. I believe you’d want Frank, Mikey, and Billie Joe.”
I hear a crunch of the leaves behind me. I flip around and see Frank standing there.
“Gee?” Frank asks, “Are you okay?”
“Yeah, Frankie, I’m okay. I just needed to get out of there.” I respond. I’ll tell him about the plan now and get him to call Mikey and Billie later. I wish he wouldn’t worry about me so much. I’m fine.
“Why?”
I shrug. “Frank can I ask you something?”
“Of course.”
“Will you join me?”
“Join you on what?”
“My quest to destroy everyone.” I grin. It’s a good plan I’ll have to admit.
“What?! Gerard, why would you want to do that?!” Frank is clearly upset that I offered. I’ll just have to convince him.
“Think about it, Frankie. All the idiot jocks that ever hit you, or called you a name, everyone who ever made you feel incompetent, all of them, their lives in your hands. You could do what you want to them like they did to you. Wouldn’t you like that Frankie?” I lean in close and whisper into his ear. “Us against the world.”
“Gerard… I don’t know about all this.” Frank is still unsure. Shit.
“Frankie, you could get back at them. You could make them jealous. You could do everything they ever did to you, but worse.” Come on. Come on. Oh my god if you don’t agree I’ll kill you. No I won’t. It’s just a figure of speech.
“Okay, Gee. I’ll join you.” He sighs. Does he really want to do this? I don’t want him to think he has to.
“He agreed. Shut up.” Helena hisses into my ear. Go away Helena. I’m having a conversation! That bitch never leaves me alone.
“Will you call Mikey and Billie later and ask them too?” I pout.
“Sure.”
“Yay! Thank you!” I hug him.
“Yeah. Well, we should get back to lunch I guess.” He blushes. Aw. That’s adorable!
“Damn. Okay.” I sigh.
**TIME LAPSE**
“Hey Gee?” I turn around and see Frankie running up to me. I cock my head and give him a questioning look.
“I’m going to Ray’s house this afternoon. I’ll call you later.” He walks in the direction of his car. I sigh. I was looking forward to hanging out with Frankie at Bert’s house.
