*Mikey’s POV*
“Who are you?” Gerard asks. Frank and Billie look at me confused. I put my finger to my lips and smile. Gerard’s talking in his sleep again and I want to see if it’s (once again) about Frank, and if Frank will pick up on it.
“Oh! Hi, Frank. You must be Mikey’s friend from school.” He continues.
. . .
“Mikey! Your friend is in my room!”
. . .
“Mikey, that wasn’t an invitation to stay down here!”
Billie speaks first.
“What’s that about?”
“He’s talking in his sleep. Dunno what he’s dreaming about, but it’s fun to listen to.” I explain.
“HA, what if he’s dreaming about Frank?” Billie laughs.
Frank speaks up. “No way man, he’s not into me like that!” Frank pushes Billie. Because Billie was laughing, he couldn’t keep his balance and he fell in the floor. Well, that brings an all new meaning to ROTFL. I laugh at my own joke. I sense movement beside of me.
Gerard pulls his notebook out and writes what he wants to say and slides it over so we can read it.
Billie answers him before I have time to, “Man, did you know you talk in your sleep?”
The shock is apparent on his face. Even though that’s not why we were laughing, we go along with it. Gerard takes his book back and writes a little more and slides it over again. I answer this time.
“You mumbled about Lyn-z,” I pause. I just made that up, but it seems legit. He looks confused. Maybe it didn’t sound as good as I thought. I continue, “Then you started having a conversation with Frank, only Frank wasn’t talking.”
He’s really freaking out. This is always fun.
“Yeah man, what was that about?” Frank asks. I don’t know what he was hoping to hear. Well, read. So I decide I’ll freak Gee out even more.
“Well, Frank, Gee is completely and totally…” I trail off and look at Gerard. His expression is screaming for me to shut up. To not say what he thinks I’m going to say.
I finish my sentence, “crazy.”
Gerard breaths out. Oh look, here comes Bert. I open my mouth to say hello, but he puts his finger to his lips, telling me to hush. He places his hands over Gerard’s eyes.
“Guess who?” Bert asks.
. . . Silence.
“Didn’t think you would, but a guy can hope.” Gerard looks over at me, I shrug.
“Hey, Gee-bear!” Bert kisses Gerard’s cheek.
. . . Still silence. I don’t know what we were expecting. He doesn’t talk to anyone anymore, not even me.
“Hey Bert, sup?” I greet him.
“I just came over here to see if you guys wanted to hang at my house this afternoon.” Bert looks over at Gerard lovingly.
“Sure! Gee and I will be there around four.” I respond for both me and Gerard.
“Cool! I’ll be there, what about you Frank?” Billie Joe turns to Frank.
“Sounds stupid,” Billie glares at Frank, and he sighs. “Fine. I’ll be there.”
“Great! See you guys after school!” Bert pecks Gerard’s lips with his and walks away.
Well that was creepy. I’ve always thought Bert and Gee’s relationship was weird. Mainly because Bert doesn’t care that Gerard never talks. The other reason is that Bert’s insane. I think he has to go to a therapist so he doesn’t rape anyone.
What was that other reason?
Oh yeah.
He’s a fucking jock. Gee doesn’t know this but he still bullies most of us. Frank gets the biggest blow though. I’ve never really understood why.

Interviewer: When's the new album coming out? Gerard: We don't know yet but this one is coming rather quickly and I'm really excited about that. And it's very dark so far but I really like it. Interviewer: Are you gonna dress up for this one? Gerard: This one, yeah... this one, I've got something worked out that's really awesome.
