Gerard's POV

I can't even believe that was ten years ago, that I had let all that happen to me. Being twenty five is a whole lot better than being a little teenage spirit. Like a billion times better.

My new apartment is as great as it gets in Jersey. A pool, free coffee and serenity. I can be by myself, and enjoy every second of it. My job pays, and my music career is starting up too. Life is great.

Maddie, one of my neighbors, greeted me as I stepped outside into the light. "Hey, Gerard." She was holding a thick pamphlet.

"Hello, what's with the pamphlet?"

"Oh it's for the new residents. Everyone is going to meet them, I heard they are the best of people. Polite, kind, sweet."

"Do you know them personally?"

"I thought you would, they went to Belleville High just like you," she answered with a smile.. "Cameron Jenks, and he's sharing a room with his friend Jonathan Harris."

"Just when I thought I was rid of him..." I mumbled.

"What was that?"

"Oh," I corrected. "I can't wait to see Jonathan again."

"And Cameron?"

"Meeting him will be..." I paused and tried to answer honestly. "...interesting."
