Summary
Gerard doesn't do love. He did in the past, yes, but high school was different. Now he just wants booze and a fuck.
Bert never got over his old lover, and he's still bitter over the whole affair. Of course he would be the fucking lead singer of this shitty punk band.
Gerard and Bert have both been feeling the same strange pain for four years.
[This fic is obviously Gerbert. I do have a Frerard in the works, but I don't want to start it until this has a steady flow. I don't see much Gerbert on here, because most people prefer Frerard. But Gerbert is my favorite. Sooo here you go have this fic.]
Characters
Bert McCracken
Bert has been living with his friends Quinn and Jepha since the end of their senior year. They helped him through an agonizing heartbreak. Bert spends most of his nights at underground punk shows with his friends, but some are spent in a pill-induced haze to numb the pain.
Gerard Way
Gerard loves his booze almost more than he loves his lucky leather jacket. Ever since high school ended, he's been chugging cheap whiskey and fucking almost anyone who's willing. Despite the kick ass shows and his band's growing fanbase, he can't help but feel like something is eating at him. And it burns.

There will be more, yes! I didn't write anything for a really long time because I wasn't in a place where I felt like I could write decently except for mini fics and stuff. I'm going to start updating this hopefully by January, if not sooner!!
