Falling in love will kill you.

"Ray!" he jumps as I hug him. "I'm not sure what to do, Congratulate you or something?"
He laughs to himself and smiles weakly.
"Thanks man"
"Sooo... What are you gonna do about it?" I ask excited.
He shrugs "I donno.. seeing how he reacted to you and Gee." He starts playing with his thumbs.
"It'll be alright I promises" I smile and lay my hand on his shoulder.
"I guess" he smiles up at me, I stand up.
"Want a drink?" I ask walking to the fridge, he nods. I grab two beers. "Catch" I throw the bottle at Ray, he catches with one hand.
We talk for a while.

"So I'm staying with Gee in the break" I smile finishing my um-th beer.
"Really? cool! but what about your apartment?" He says setting his beer down.
I start to giggle feeling the alcohol taking effect. "It burnt down"
"Holy shit dude! no way!" he says flailing his arms in the air. "What about your guitars?!"
"hahah" I laugh at his goofiness "Storage, dun worry about it." I go to stand, my legs wobble. "Frooo~ man, want another beer?" I slur a bit.
"Nah, I'm good. I think you should stop too though."he says a bit concerned
"One more beer can't hurt." I take a step but lose balance and fall flat on my face, I groan out in pain. "Fuck.." I mutter into the floor. at that moment I hear foot steps approaching me.
I hear Ray gasp. I look up at Gee with a bloody nose.
"Need some help darling?" He smiles some blood drips onto his lips, most of it's already dry. He picks me up and sets me on his lap on the sofa. I feel myself sober up for a moment from the shock.

"Gee, what happened?" I run my fingers along his nose gently, he winces. "sorry. I should get some ice for that." I suggest. "No Frank, it's fine, it's nothing. It barley hurts anymore" He smiles weakly.
"Fine.. but let me clean it up." I say pulling a napkin out of my pocket
"What happened to Mikey?" Ray asks softly from the silence as I'm cleaning up Gee..
He sighs. "Well... Mikey is the one who punched me and then he stormed off.. I think he went to a bar... ouch!" he yelps when I dab his nose too hard.
"Sorry, babe"
"It's alright.." he smiles softly and pecks me on the lips.
"I'm gonna go after him.." Ray stands up and start to leave.
"Good luck dude." I smile
He nods and leaves. I turn back to Gee.
"Why did he punch you?" I ask he shrugs.
"Not sure, we where yelling it became all a blur..." he says rubbing the bridge of his nose.
I start trailing kisses long his face, on his forehead, along his checks and finally on the tip of his nose very carefully.
He giggles "goofball." Our lips collide in a small kiss. After we pull apart we cuddle on the sofa for a little while, me sitting on his lap. A little while later I feel my eyes start to droop shut, I yawn, I guess I was really that tired I just couldn't open my eyes anymore. Gerard presses soft kisses to my temple, brushing his fingers through my hair.
"Time for bed, puppy." He chuckles at the new pet name for me. He picks me up and walks over to one of the bunks he takes off my jeans, leaving me in my boxers he lays me down. He climbs in after me. I bury my face into his chest, inhaling his sent. He raps his arms around me.
I've waited for this for a long time.
I fall asleep in the arms of the man I've always secretly loved.
