I'm Okay. Trust Me

Frank's POV

Seeing Gerard standing in the shower room doorway didn't necessarily embarrass me. It was more of a shock. I was stunned to see his innocent face staring at me.

Gerard's cheeks blushed immensely when I saw him.

“I- I'm sorry” stuttered Gerard.

He swirled around and began to run out.

I couldn't let him go. I knew if I did we'd never talk again and I really didn't want that to happen. I grabbed a towel off the rack and flung it around my waist.

“Gerard! Wait!” I shouted. I stumbled after him, trying not to slip.

He turned around slowly. His eyes took in my soaking wet body, my only article of clothing being a towel. I felt my cheeks heat up.

“I'm so sorry, Frank” I could tell he was biting the inside of his cheek nervously.

“Hey, it's alright. You didn't know” I smiled and walked toward him slowly.


Gerard's POV

I felt like I was going to faint. Being this close to Frank with him only wearing a towel around his waist made my heart feel like it was going to beat out of my chest.

I didn't know what was wrong with me. I was never this attracted to anyone before, especially not a male. I had a girlfriend back in 6th grade, but the most she did was walk with me to my classes.
I realized I was still staring at his mesmerizing body. I looked away reluctantly.

“I'm so sorry, Frank” I said, my eyes connecting with his for a moment. I bit the inside of my cheek.

He stepped toward me slowly. My body tensed. “Hey, it's alright. You didn't know” Frank's voice was soft and sweet, sincere.

I smiled a little. “Are you sure?”
He stepped closer, one hand clutching the towel around his waist, the other softly brushed against my arm reassuringly. I was so glad I hadn't put my jacket back on yet. His touch against my skin was electric.

“Totally” he said, smiling. I smiled back. “Okay, good, well.. uh... See you around” I stumbled toward the locker room door, trying to push the dizziness from my body.
I pulled the door open. “Bye Gerard” I snapped my head around, a little too fast. I took one last look at his half naked body. I smiled wide. “Bye Frank” I said and turned to walk out.

“You can call me Frankie, by the way”

I grinned ear to ear, even though he couldn't see my face. “Okay” I said dazed. “Bye Frankie”
