Notorious Nine: Battery City Stories
Meet the Crew
Battery City, to some it is nothing but a barren wasteland; but I am one of the unfortunate people who has to call it home. Its been a few years since the four got dusted by Better Living Industries and their message still lives on. The citizens of Battery City constantly live in fear of BLI. Most of the citizens gave in and conformed to the life of BLI, while others were dusted in trying to fight them. The ones that weren't dusted banded together. Now there are many groups around the city that intend to fight BLI and free the people of Battery, we are one of those groups. We are the Notorious Nine; though we can never do what the four did, we will try like hell to make a name for ourselves.
"So you're this kid that i've heard all about? That kid who took down the Dracs in zone 3?"
Doctor Death Defying asked as he placed his feet up on his table.
"Yes sir, but it wasn't just me. My Killjoys helped me out too. We're known as the Notorious Nine."
Dramatic Demon said as he sat up straight as Doctor D's alarm began to ring.
"Kid, if you excuse me I gotta let the people know whats happening."
Demon got up and listened in on Doctor D's broadcast as he walked out the door. Demon pulled his mask on and started to walk through the barren desert that surrounds Battery City. As soon as he walked a few feet, he was rushed by a group of Draculoids and thrown on the ground. The Dracs resumed to kick him on the ground.
"So this is the end?"
Demon said, wiping a drop of blood from his lip, preparing for the worst to come. He heard a Ray Gun fire in the distance and opened his eyes to see the figure of a friend.
"Looks like you owe me one, Demon."
War Tiger said as she put her Ray Gun in her holster and helped him up.
"I had that down Tiger."
Demon said as he brushed himself off and fixed his mask.
"Lets just go."
Tiger said as the two started to walk back to their home. They along with the rest of their group live in a hideout that BLI doesn't even know about. In their hideout in addition to Tiger and Demon, lived Shattered Heart, Unbroken Dreams, Toxic Widow, Deathwish, Sparkling Revenge, Harlequin Sunshine and Authority Dangerheart. Demon came inside amd began to round everyone together.
"Listen guys, I know that we have been on the down low, but I think its about time that we finally stood up for ourselves. Tomorrow night, we're going into Battery City and we are gonna put Better Living Industries on notice."
Demon said as the rest of the group around him rallied together to get a plan devised.
