Love lasts for ever
Chapter 6
I didn't know where is was going, honestly I didn't care. I just drove.
My luck I turned on the radio and on of our songs was playing. Again my luck it was The Light Behind Your Eyes. What great fucking luck.
I turned the radio to a different station. A metal station. Okay I can handle that.
I can handle that about as well as I could a handle a full grown cobra. Quickly I shut off the radio and sung to myself to the beat of the rain on the roof of my car.
"I cant breathe to the beat of an empty heart." I sang. "With out the warmth of your touch on my hand. Not with out you breathing right with me. Every life giving breath is killing me if its not the air you breathe." I kept singing and i made it up as I went.
Soon I was beyond city limits. Good. I wanted away, far way. Of course I couldn't leave, but I could take a break.
Pulling into a lot, I was in the park I played at as a kid. I saw Mikey on the swing and I sat under the old oak tree, which was now cut down.
......................................
"Mikey!" I called to him. "Mikey I dare you to eat dirt!"
"How much you gonna pay me big brother?" He called back.
"What ever is in my pocket!"
"Deal!"
......................................
"My how things have changed." I said to myself looking at the stump of the old tree.
I got out and sat on the rusty old swing set. Time to think
