"Well since your here we can all throw a huge fucking party, Mikey, Sarah, You, and me." I said as sarcasticlly as I possily could.

"Listen Gerard. You cant let this shit get to you! Just calm the fuck down. Frank will be right as rain soon." Ray said.

"...right as rain. . . ." The words ran through my head as another flashback started.

The snow was falling furiously onto the windshield as I drove through Belleville.

"Hey honey merry christmas." Frank said just as the clock in the dashboard hit midnight. "I've got you something. Its waiting for you at your house."

I smiled. "I've gotten you something as well." I pulled a box out from under my seat. "Merry christmas. I love you."

I heard him open the small wrapped box. He took a deep breath and I could feel his smile.

"I love them Gerard! They're perfect." He said.

"I love them. . . ." Those were his last words to me.

"Gerard? You okay?" I heard Ray ask me.

I hurridly whiped my cheeks even though I knew he saw me crying. "Yeah fan-fucking-tastic."

He hugged me and I lost it. I started to sob heavily.

"Let me go!" I said pushing him away.

He just shook his head.

"I have to go. If Mikey comes over let him in." I said putting on my coat.

I drove as fast as I could in the rain.
