"What do you mean, he might not make it!" I yelled at the docter quietly, as to not wake up Frank.

"Sir, the brain damage is extensive and we believe he might be brain dead." The doctor said.

His indifferent tone stabbed me right in the heart.

"You listen to me, you can fix him, you will fix him. If you can't fix him, I will." I hissed hushed up.

"I will leave you alone." The doctor said leaving quickly.

I sat down by Franks bed and held his gloved hand. I bought him the gloves a week before the accident. It was Christmas and we both knew we only had each other to care for.

I remebered all the blood the accident had caused, and yet I was unscathed. Frank was here lying, possibly brain dead.

"I wont let them pull the plug on you frank. I know you can get better. I will help you. You helped me rise up from my own ashes when I hit rock bottom, you helped me to live again. I will help you through this Frank. I will never let them take the light behind your beautiful hazel eyes. I wont let them kill you."

I know he didnt hear me, but I needed to confort myself more than him. He probably didnt even realise that I was here, or that he was in a coma.

"Please don't leave me Frank."
