I'm Okay Now

**katys pov**
"Thank goodness you're up!" Alicia squealed as soon as I bolted awake gasping for any air that I could find.
"What happened!?" I woke up in a room that was all white with a window that was covered up by white curtains so I couldn't tell if it was day or night. In the middle of the room there was a middle age woman standing in a long lab coat surrounded by pointy needles and other objects that scared me, giving it away that I was in the er. But how did I get here? Everything was really confusing, it was as I was in a coma for 10 years and I just woke up.
"You fainted. What's the last thing you can remember?" The nurse with a too-tight-ponytail asked.
"Ummm... I have no idea" I traced back threw my memory trying to put the events in order but it wasn't working out for me. Everything was really blurry, like I was trying to remember a dream that happened 5 years ago.
A lot of people
Loud music.
Alcohol.
Dirty dancing.
More alcohol.
Chris
Chris and I dancing.
Blood.
Fists.
Arguing.
Fighting.
Mikey.
Mikey!
"Oh my god is Mikey okay!" I screamed loud enough for the whole hospital to hear.
"Please lower you voice, dear" the nurse ordered "your friend is okay. He is suffering from a broken nose and a torn ligament in the knee."
"Well where is he?"
"In surgery getting his noes out back in place. I assume that your memory is coming back. Do you remember anything els?"
"No just a few details"
"Can you please tell me?" I told her the whole list that ran threw my head, of course leaving out the alcohol part. She nodded every time I told her something and wrote it down on her note pad. i was interrupted by a handsome man sprinting into the small hospital room with messy raven hair and tight skinny jeans.
"Well by the sounds of it, she's up!" Gerard joked with a bright smile on his face that made the white on the walls fade. I have no idea how long I was out for, but all I know is how much I missed that warm smile of his. I rose from the uncomfortable hospital chair and got on my feet for the first time since I fainted, which felt kinda odd. Keeping my balance up, I ran over to my boyfriend ready to give him a kiss, only to be discreetly rejected and thrown into a hug instead. I always love our hugs but I was really confused because normally he's the one to kiss then hug, we never hug first. It got even worse when it only lasted no more than three seconds. Something was defiantly wrong here, and it's not something I like.
"Are you guys friends?" The nurse asked, looking a little disgusted at us.
"Yep!" Gerard replied in a heartbeat without putting any hesitation into the word. Did I just get friend zoned!? Then the worst thought ran threw my mind. while I was out, he found another girl that was much prettier, funnier, nicer, but more importantly, that he liked more than me. He doesn't love me anymore, that's his way of saying we're done. All the pain was building up inside of me was too much for me to take in all at once. The first person in 8 years that I actually knew cared about me was gone in a flash and now were just "friends". What hurt even more was recalling threw my memory when he said that he loved me, and now knowing that won't happen anymore. Tonight I will go home to an empty bed alone at my dad's house. The last thing I want to do is look into the eyes of someone who used to love me, so I wouldn't want to stay at his house anymore. the tears started to build up knowing what would happen to me in the future. Shit I can't let them see that I'm still in love with my ex, that will weaken me. I can't be weak. Not anymore.
