I'm Okay Now

I sat their frozen having my long blue hair cover my face and hopefully hide against any tears that might fall. I didn't even move and it was hard enough to force my mind to take in that just happened. My first reaction to that was to turn off my phone. He can't track me if my phones off. Second I just sat their, not thinking, I even forgot to breath. Or at least untill Gerard found me. My dad would actually get a hammer and beat me with it, it happened before, multiple times. In a matter of seconds I was in Gerard's arms. I wasn't crying this time,I was too shocked to cry and i had to remain strong and not show the weak girl i really was. I spent another hour on the sitting on the counter choking back my tears and thinking about all the different kind of beatings my dad had I store for me tomorrow. The rest of the night continued with various nightmares

I woke up the next morning by Mikey splashing cold water on me
"Finally your up!" He Began "we have to go to school, your late enough already" I just looked up him and rolled over.
"Nope!" I replied to him as I covered my whole body in the covers. Apparently he didn't take my shit and he shoved them all off me.

I entered first period with a big fake smile on my face so I wouldn't scare Gerard, and took my usual seat. Of course I was the first person in the classroom but "mr.way" joined me soon after.
"How did you sleep last night" he asked me trying to keep his volume low incase anyone in the hallway where to here us. I didn't want to be that bitch that complains about everything so I lied and said good, And it was enough for him to believe. The students started to fill the once empty classroom and Mikey sat next to me in his usual spot. The lesson begain but I dident bother to pay attention to Gerard's lecture on how music is a wonderful thing and how it can help you in life because I already knew that.
"Who was that girl you where talking too yesterday. You know the one in the woods?" I questioned Mikey in a quiet tone so I wouldn't get in trouble.
"Some girl that goes to our school. She recognized me and we started to talk. And her name in Alecia FYI." I couldn't help but let out a small giggle on how protective me was over her
"And do you by any chance like her?"
***Mikey's pov***
Ever since I met Alecia yesterday on the trail, I couldn't stop thinking of her. She was so nice and sweet and funny..... Perfect.
"Who was that girl you where talking to yesterday" Katy asked making me remember that I was still in school, which I completely forgot about.
"Just some girl who goes to are school. She recognized me and we started to talk. And her name is Alicia FYI" I said with sass in the last few words that I spoke. She giggled probably thinking that..
"And do you like her by any chance?" She asked me cutting me off on my thought. I couldn't help but laugh at the weird face that she used trying to control herself from laughing, I smiled as I leaned back in my chair brushing my fingers through my dirty blond hair.
"Yea" I managed to say, and it was true I really did like her. In fact I couldn't get her out of my head, even if I where to try.
"Ohhh Mikey's got a little crush" she teased and I couldn't help but giggle.
"And I also got her number too so in your face!"
"Dude really!" She said snapping back to sounding so serious. And excited all of a sudden. I couldn't help but nod feeling like I just won the world.
"Oh while where on the subject of crushes.." I began and I heard her mumble 'oh no' under her breath as an evil smile crossed my lips and I continued "do you happen to have a crush on my brother?" I saw her smile a big sweet smile as she looked at her shoes and smiled even more. She let her long blue hair fall from her ears as she began to speak
"Yea, I think I do" she replied still refusing to make eye contact, she was blushing like crazy, she might as well be a tomato. I saw her take a peek at my brother who was teaching at the other side of the room who happened to be eavesdropping on us because he was blushing too.
"It's cute, you guys are cute. You know he likes you too right?"
"Well kinda. considering he kissed me a couple of times-"
I cut her off "He kissed you!" I quietly shouted making sure no one in the class heard. "Why was I not informed!?!?"
"Well considering your my best friend and I'm I like your brother it would be kinda awkward to confront"
"Well... I agree. But next time anything happens you come to me!"
"Katy and Mikey! As much fun as it was on eavesdropping on you two and your conversations, it would be even more fun to give you both detentions" I heard a broad voice say in a loud tone behind me as the class went quiet and everyone's eyes where on me. Ugh my brother always wins at embarrassing me, and now he can do it in front of the class.
"Wait- y-you where eavesdropping on us?" I barely managed to choke out knowing that the whole class was staring and was able to hear every word that I said. Even though I knew he was listening I wanted to play dumb so the rest of the class doesn't start asking questions.
"Yep!" He said pouring evil into every letter he spoke. I gave him a bitch face and he knew it too, this is why he gets everything that he wants, because if he doesn't he yelled at me in front of the whole fucking class! He walked away with pride in every step he took and it pissed me off. He turned back around only to se me give him the middle finger he gave me a wink and the only sound in the classroom was the giggles that Katy made.
"You know you have a crush on that guy" I whispered over to Katy making sure she only could hear.
"Go back to work" she told me with a wide smile on her face as she let out a small giggle and playfully hit my arm.
