Ray
I got a call at ten-thirty at night to go over to the Way’s. Apparently it was ‘urgent’ so I didn’t say no. I did end up picking up a very exited Ashley on my way there though.

“What. The. Fuck.” was all that escaped my lips for about ten minutes. SHe was just lying there, on the concrete in front of Gerard and Mikey’s house. Looked like a middle schooler, 7th or 8th grade.
“Well don’t just stand there, help her into the house, I’ll call the polic-”
“No!” Gerard cut Ashley off, his horrified face still wide-eyed. “We’ll take her inside, find stuff out, and if necessary, all the cops, but let’s meet her first.” We nodded and Bob stooped down, picking her up and carrying her bridal style. Mikey opened the front door and we followed Bob into the two story. I looked back, nothing was left on the sidewalk.
Gerard walked into the kitchen, coming back out with a damp dish towel. He delicately started dabbing the girl’s face, Frank then came over, grabbing the towel from his boyfriend’s hand. “Allow me.” He said and squeezed the water from the cloth onto her head, waking her up.
“The fuck you want!” She had already jumped off the kitchen table, moving her hands in a defencive position. Then she faltered, Bob caught her and led her to the couch. The strange girl had her hand up to her head, moaning in pain.
“Jesus fucking Christ. Probably shouldn’t have taken that large of a dose… Man I feel like shit.” She trailed off, leaving all of us to confusion. Ashley made Gerard move, taking his place next to the visitor.
“Hey hun, are you okay?” The girl in the black hoodie shook her head, her hand still rubbing her temples. Ashley continued. “Okay, how about you start by telling us your name.” Ashley’s hand was on the girl’s shoulder, helping her stay upright. The girl stopped for a second, almost as if she couldn’t remember her own name. Then she nodded her head.
“V- Valkyrie.” She stuttered. “Caine.” Then she looked up, and i got a good look at her face. She was really pretty, dark brown hair, almost black, brown eyes, outlined by black eyeliner. She was wearing a black hoodie, black skinny jeans, and black combat boots, a Black Veil Brides tshirt peeking out from under her jacket.
“Who are you guys, I aint’ tellin’ you nothin’ if you ain’t gonna tell me who you are.” For being a zombie, she sure was able to be a complete smartass. I laughed and she shot me a death glare, telling me to fuck off.
“Well, hun,” Ashley chuckled softly to herself, earning her own glare. “I’m Ashley, Ashley Cornine. Then that’s my boyfriend, Ray Toro. And there’s Bob Bryar,” She gestured to him, then did the same to the rest of us. “Gerard Way and Frank Iero, they’re also together. And Mikey, Gee’s brother.” Valkyrie looked at us all, chewing her already beaten bottom lip.

Gerard
“Valkyrie, can you tell us what’s up?” I took my spot back from Ashley, trying to coax the girl to come out of the dark hiding spot she was storing herself in. She sighed and rolled her eyes, obviously annoyed by the pressure.
“Yeah, later. I’m extremely tired and I want to get some rest. So if you want info, you have to let me sleep. Kay?” She stood up crossing her arms and putting her hood up over her face. Then she turned to us, frowning. “Where am i going to sleep? I’ll take the couch if you want, but that means you’ll all have to let my rest in peace. I stood up, towering over her by at least a foot.
“There’s a spare bedroom upstairs, follow me.” I led her to a closed door, opening it and watching as she flopped onto the mattress. She kicked off her shoes and stared at me. I crossed the small space and sat next to her.
“Look,” I started, unsure of what was going to happen. “you can tell me anything. I already know that it was a drug overdose that caused you to collapse on my driveway, but what was it? Weed? Cocaine? Wha-” She growled, telling me to shut up.
“Look I appreciate the bad and that you’re trying to help, but I really want to sleep. Besides, I can’t remember what it was I took. All I recall is that they were pills.” She stopped there, and I took that as a sign to leave. She started unzipping her hoodie as I walked towards the exit. I saw scars lining her arms as I turned to close the doors.

I walked back downstairs, the others were waiting impatiently.
“Now what?” Frank put his arm around my waist, Ashley leaning on one foot as she stood up, waiting for information.
“I’m going to talk to her.” She left us, taking the stairs two at a time. All we heard were three soft knocks in the quiet room.

Valkyrie
“Yeah?” I had my face in the pillows of the strange bed. I had discarded my jeans, leaving me in my tshirt and underwear. The door opened as soon as I finished answering. Ugh. It was that pushy Ashley chick, the one who wouldn’t stop pressuring me for answers, and she was back to keep up her game.
“What do you want?” She tensed up at my harshness, quickly regaining her cool within point-two seconds. Go away.
“C’mon hun, what’s bothering you? You can tell me.” I sat up, hissing at the pain from my headrush and grabbed the intruder’s arm.
“You want to know what’s bothering me?” I growled. “You. Now, I already told everyone else that I wanting some peace and quiet, especially after you kept annoying me.” I let go, shoving her back and burying myself under the covers and waiting silently until she left. Onve I heard the door open and close again, I sighed, letting out a breath I didn’t know I had been holding.
Maybe I can sleep now. I felt warmth fall down my cheeks, then I played along, silently sobbing into the pillows of this stranger’s bed.
