Be careful making wishes in the dark

I was always afraid of Gerard, even when we were kids. There was always something strange about him, when we were little he killed a bird with a large rock and didn't react in any way. Although I am the older one, I was always intimidated by Gerard. Once, he cut my arm with a kitchen knife and laughed. I was afraid of him before that, but after that I was done with him. I avoided him. But to this day, I'll never forget how scared he makes me feel.
