More Than Alive (Frerard One-Shot)

Frank made his way through the crowd of people dancing to Evening Wear by Mindless Self Indulgence. He kept looking for someone.

Who is this someone you might ask? No other than Gerard Way.

So far no sign of him. Frank knows that Gerard is here, he saw him at a corner and now he can't find him.

Tonight was the night Frank was going to make his move.

But not just Frank, but Gerard too.

Gerard didn't really like parties. So he stayed at corners, hidden in the shadows.

Gerard tap his foot to his favorite band. Everyone is dancing, including Frank with a girl.

He was getting really nervous to make his move now. So he stayed at the corner. Frank saw his and smiled at him, knowing that Gerard never liked parties.

Mikey walks over to him.

"Hey, Gee. Are you going to go and ask him?" Mikey said loud enough so Gerard can hear over the music.

"Um, no. I back off from the stupid idea," Gerard said while playing with his fingers.

"Alright, come on." Mikey says and drags Gerard to a room.

That left Frank wondering, where the hell did Gerard go?

He pass by a room, whos door was left ajar.

Frank took a peek in and saw Gerard and Mikey talking.

The song ended and left the room silent for a couple of seconds.

Enough for Frank to hear what Gee and Mikes are talking about.

"Dammit Gee! When are you going to have the guts to tell Frank you love him?" Mikey said.

"Nope, not going to do it. Nope, nope, nope." Gerard said and cross his arms.

"Just tell him on the dance floor, Gee. Everyone knows you love him and he loves you back too! You don't have to be Sherlock to find that out!" Mikey says and he does his jazz hands.

Gerard sighs and gives in.

"Fine. Whatever you say Unicorn Boy." Gerard says while giggling.

"Fuck you Gee. You're lucky I love you." Mikey said.

Frank runs to another wall, making sure he wasn't near the room.

He smiles.

Gerard loves him and not as a friendly way. Love him like love him!

That made Frank get butterflies in his stomach. Frank realize that he knew the plan. So he went to the dance floor.

More Than Alive by The Ready Set started to play. Yes, Frank though to himself. The perfect song.

Gerard came out of the room and stood at the doorway. He looked for Frank.

And Frank made sure he can be seen by Gerard.

Gerard kept looking at Frank. God he is a beautiful little man, Gerard thought to himself. Gerard started to loose his hopes. He sigh and looked for a seat.

But before he did, Mikey grabbed his older brother wrist and gave him the Do-It-Now-Or-I'll-Do-It glare.

Gerard sigh. The breakdown or bridge of the song started.

Gerard started walking to Frank and Frank to Gerard.

All Gerard and Frank can hear is the the bridge of the song: 'I'm running though a stop sign. Got the world at my side. No break lights. Feeling more than alive...'

They both reach each other at the middle of the dance floor.

Gerard felt like he would melt because of the way Frank looked at him. Frank thought he would melt because the moment was here. Here, they will tell each other how much they love each other.

But instead they kept looking at each other.

Once the bridge of the song was turning into back to the refrain of the song, Frank broke the silence between them.

"Fucking finally," is all Frank manage to say before Gerard and Frank lean in and kissed each other. Yes, it was a perfect kiss. It made Gerard feel he was more than alive, just like the song said. So did Frank.

They both can hear the people around them awing them since they all knew how much they love each other and they are finally kissing.

Once the song ended the smile at each other.

"I love you, Gerard."

"I love you, too, Frank."
