Miss Me, Miss Me, Now You Wanna Kiss Me

{Venom's POV}

I woke up, sweating and out of breath. Every night I had the same nightmare. Korse standing over me, a knife in his hand. And then just pain. Emotional and physical. And after what Ghoul told me last night I didn't feel any better. I got up from my bed and walked downstairs, avoiding eye contact with everyone until my gaze set on a young girl. I stopped dead in my tracks, starring at her.

Poison must of noticed my distress because he quickly got next to the little girl.

"Missile Kid this is Venom. Venom this is Missile Kid." He introduced us and I continued starring at her.

"Hi." She whispered and I just nodded. Old feelings came rushing back to me and I walked outside quickly. My feet carried me to the back of the building to a little bunker I use to stay in all the time with Ghoul when we wanted alone time. I sat there and felt the tears build up inside me. They eventually spilled over my cheeks and I just sat on floor. I didn't even notice someone come down the stairs. "Are you okay?" A tiny voice said and I looked up to see Missile kid starring at me. I wiped the tears from my eyes and nodded.

"Yeah, thanks." I said and she walked over to a corner and looked at a pile of pictures. "Whatcha got there?" I asked and she smiled holding up a picture of all the guys and me and she looked at it.

"Ghoul, when he tucks me into bed he tells me stories about him and this girl, Avalon, and my favorite is when they first met. She saved him from the bad guys. But when he tells the story he never tells the ending." She said and I felt myself tear up again.

"Ghoul doesn't like endings." I said quietly and she nodded.

"Did you know her?" She asked and I smiled, walking over to her. I sat next to her and took the picture.

"I did. A long time ago." I said and rubbed my thumb over the finger of me and Ghoul kissing. I remember when we found that camera and we took all the pictures we could. Poison demanded he get one of us kissing for archives.

"You know you guys have the same eyes." She trailed off and sudden excitement exploded through her features. "Oh my god! You're Avalon!" She said all excited and I laughed, nodding.

"The one and only." I did a tiny bow and handed her the picture. "So where do you sleep?" I asked and she pointed to a little cot.

"Ghoul told me not to move anything." She said and I ruffled her hair. I always liked kids but she was like a little sister.

"Look how about I give you my cot in the diner and I'll stay down here." I said and she shook her head.

"Can I stay here, with you?" She asked and I thought about it. It would be nice to actually get away from the diner.

"Alright, there is another mattress in the closet, you can use it instead of that cot." I said and she shrugged.

"Don't tell Ghoul but sometimes I slept on the bed after he left and got up early and moved to the cot." She laughed and I smiled. She was like me when I was younger. After i pulled out the extra mattress she sat on the bed and hung up some of her things. Half the room was hers, half of it was mine.

"Missile are you done here?" A voice yelled as I held her stick the last of her favorite pictures up. I looked over at the person and found Ghoul with red puffy eyes watching me intently.

"Uh yeah. Venom is gonna be staying with me down here. Look she even let me have an actual bed and decorate." She said, giddy as can be.

"Venom can I speak to you outside?" He asked and I nodded. I walked up the stairs behind Ghoul and we stood in the indoor part before you went into the bunker and he turned, looking at me. "What are you doing? Getting a girl attached to you when you're just going to leave her behind?" He said in a hushed tone.

"I never said I was going to leave." I defended myself.

"But you and I both know you will." He spat and my hand connected with his cheek. The loud smack rang through the empty room and I narrowed my eyes at him.

"You don't know why I left. Don't act like you do. I love you Frank, and last night I wasn't in my right mind when I said I didn't. Whether you believe me or not, it's true." I looked away from him. "I left to protect you and the guys. To get Korse and the Draculoids off your trail. I paid the price." I whispered and walked from the bunker my hand absent mindlessly on my stomach.

"Please, Venom. Tell me what happened." Ghoul yelled from behind me and I turned looking at him.

"Meet me on the roof in 10." I said and he nodded, running off.

Yeah. This was crappy. It's like 3 am and I'm hyper as hell.
