Frank’s POV
BEEP BEEP BEEP
I turned over to face my alarm to turn it off. I quickly glanced at the time, 6:58. I realised how late I already was and flung myself off my bed and stood myself up in my bare room, stretching my arms to wake myself up. First day at school in New Jersey, well this is going to be fun! I walked over to the far end of my room to find some clean clothes that mum must’ve picked out for me last night. I flung them on and fixed my hair quickly in the mirror, and added a hint of black eye-liner. I picked up my bag and my iPod and put the earphones into my ears, letting the music flood my mind. I grabbed the keys off the kitchen table and headed out the door to find my bus waiting for me outside.
“Thanks,” I muttered to the bus driver and sat in an empty seat at the front. We only arrived in NJ from England like two days ago, but the jetlag effect is still there. I leant my head against the window and watched the rain pour down and splashed against the window. My thoughts were interrupted by someone trying to get my attention.
“Um, excuse me, do you mind if I sit here?” the voice asked. I looked up to see who it was. It was a tall guy, god, he’s gorgeous. I moved my bag onto my lap as a sign he could sit.
“Thanks, hey, I don’t think I’ve seen you before. I’m Gerard,” he introduced himself, slightly nervous.
“Oh, um, yeah, I’m Frank,” I smiled at him in a friendly manner. I got a glance at his hazel-brown eyes and almost got lost in them. Once I realised what I was doing, I tore my gaze away and looked out of the window again. God, why am I so awkward?
