Wake up Dani.
Dani's eyes shot open and she sat up in a trance.
Go to the door.
Dani shuffled over to the door, setting off a silent alarm
Follow the hall to the door out..."Dani?" She ignored Gerard and carried on walking. She had to do what the voice wanted her to do. "Dani!" Gerard sprinted after her and grabbed her. He stared her in the eyes with horror and she simply said "I have to go Gee. I can't stay here anymore" with the calmest voice that he had ever heard from her. It sent shivers down his spine and she carried on walking towards the door. Gerard managed to regather his thoughts and sprinted after her.
Gerard will never forget the scream that he heard as he ran around the corner.
Dani was standing in the middle of the hall, hands over her ears, eyes closed and screaming. The pain in her scream was heart breaking. Gerard went up to her and held her with tears streaming down his face, desperately wanting her to calm down. He couldn't loose her again. Not now or ever.
A gentle hand touched Gerard's shoulder "Sweety please let me sedate her" Rebekah said calmly. Gerard managed a small nod and stared at Dani's pained face. Her eyes suddenly opened and for the first time since he took the run away's in, he saw just how much pain the fragile young girl was in and he knew than that she was never going to live a normal life ever again. "I'm so sorry" Dani whispered before collapsing so fast that Gerard barely caught her and he sunk to the floor with her in his arms. She looked at peace in her sleep, even if it was a drugged induced sleep. "Rebekah you need to help her" He wept
"Gee I...." She started
"You need to help her!" he screamed as fresh tears flooded down his pale face "she wasn't this bad before she was arrested..." he wept into Dani's neck as he pulled her closer "Please Rebekah"
"put her back into bed and we will talk about the best kind of therapy for her okay?" Rebekah replied calmly "we also need to talk about what's best Elliot too" Gerard nodded and carried an extremely limp Dani to her room, Rebekah followed behind.
Back in Dani's room, Rebekah and Gerard secured her down with wrist restraints in case she lost it again when the sedative wore off. The sight broke Gerard's heart.
"Come now sweety" Rebekah was always so calm and she took Gerard by the shoulder and led him out of the room "l'll make you a coffee and we can talk in my study"
