Prison is a lonely place

Gerard Way, the lead singer of a small struggling band of troubled but extremely talented boys that he went to school with. Mikey Way, Gerard's younger brother and one of the most talented base guitarists ever. Mikey and Gerard had it rough when they were growing up, their Dad almost never had a job and used to blame the boys and their Mother for his failure as a husband and provider. The boys Dad turned to alcohol and would beat them and their Mum on a daily basis, this pushed their Mum to look for other ways of supporting their family. She became a prostitute. One night when their Mum was out trying to earn even a few dollars, she was approached by the Smoking Dogs gang. The gang offered her the opportunity to earn some more money and with that their mother became what she had always taught her boys to stay away from, a drug dealer. The boys never knew how their Mum was managing to keep the family off the streets and were told not to ask her until the day the cops raided their house. Gerard and Mikey had had a great day at school and had had an amazing afternoon with some of their mates that caught their bus home, they were laughing with their mates until they came around the corner and saw the armed defenders trucks and squad cars outside their house. They both remember the looks on each others faces when they heard the gun shots. Their Mother was carried out in a body bag and their Father dragged out in hand cuffs by two buff officers. The boys were ushered into the back of a cop car and sent to a home for troubled youth. Gerard was diagnosed with severe depression after he drank himself half to death one night and Mikey developed anxiety disorder and started to cut himself in the night. The boys later found out everything that their Mother had done and than later that their Father had committed suicide while in prison. Gerard and Mikey ran away and swore that they would never trust police officers ever again.
Ray Toro, a super quiet person but hardcore guitarist. Ray met Gerard and Mikey while in the home for troubled youth but also went to the boys school. Ray's parents sent him to the home after they caught him cutting his thighs. Ray was severely bullied at school.
Frank Iero, a loud and out going punk guitarist with a secret. Gerard and Frank had been best friends since kindergarten, Gee was the first person that Frank came out to and like the amazing person that he is accepted it with an open mind and even stood beside him when he told his parents that he was gay. They weren't as accepting. Frank was 16 when he came out to his parents and to this day still remembers the look on his parents faces and how his Father beat him after Gerard went home. He also remembers how he felt like dirt when his Father took him the whore house and payed for him to fuck one of the prostitutes to prove that he was a real man and would be allowed to continue living under his Fathers roof. He couldn't do it and for the next 2 years lived with his Aunty Fiona who accepted the fact that Frank was gay. His Dad hated his sister so this was the safest place for him to be until Gerard and Mikey got in contact with him again after they ran away.
