gasp "I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING!" Dani screamed and shot upwards, giving everyone in the crammed truck a fright including Gee who nearly smashed into the car infront so pulled over.
"Dani...." Gee jumped out of the car and pulled the panicking blonde out of the car
"Their......coming....."The tears started to roll down her pale face "DON'T HURT ME!" she screamed as she curled up into a ball and covered her ears with her hands. Gerard sat down beside her, pulled the terrified little girl who physically couldn't move from her protective ball onto his lap and held her until she stopped shaking.
"Gee?" Dani looked up at her big brother through bloodshot, bruised and swollen eyes
"yea sweety I'm here" He pulled her tighter and kissed her on the forehead "you're safe now" he sighed and brushed her sweat and blood stained blonde hair off of her face than smiled "time to get you home" a small smile came Dani's worn and concaved face.
Gerard picked her up and gave her back to Mikey who cradled her the same way that Gerard does and she slumped her head against his chest in exhaustion.
"Gee?" Elliot asked as Gerard got back into the drivers seat
"Yea man?"
"Can we please go home"
"I'm getting there Eli" Gerard smiled "we're not going home though"
"Gee...." Elliot attempted to turn and look at Gee "Where are we going?"
"Don't panic Eli, we're going somewhere safe. You and Dani are going to get the medical attention that you both need and most importantly, those bastard's are never going to find us." Gerard had a look in his eye that no one had seen since they shot his Mother but there was no way he was going to let anyone from now on, he had already lost too much.
