I've Heard You've Been Bleeding
How Did It Come To This? Prt 3
I woke up in my bed. The sheets were pulled up to my chin and the moonlight lightly lit the room. How did I get here? I was very satisfied and very.. loose. A disturbing thought began to creep into my head. I shot up from my bed and saw Gerard laying at the edge, sleeping. I sighed in relief. He began to stir. I laid myself back down and heard a small moan from Gerard as he stretched. I felt a movement on my bed and looked up to see Gerard had rolled over and was facing me. He smiled at me, tiredly and weakly. I became angry.
"Why didn't you leave when I told you to?"
"I told you I wasn't leaving until you told me, didn't I?"
Anxiety over came me again. He was going to tell everyone. Everyone was going to hate me. Someone was going to kill me. I was going to die within the week. As my thoughts slipped into my head more, my anxiety grew. And apparently it showed.
Gerard saw the worry on my face as I sat at the edge of my bed. I buried my head in my hands. I felt a warm hand on my shoulder as I tried to calm myself down. He began to rub in circles as my breathing became heavier. He shushed me, trying to help, but it didn't. Guilt eventually made it worse. I felt bad for the three time I had drank from Gerard. I started to cry. The tears that escaped, sliced through my skin. I hadn't cried in a long time. I felt my face swell from the tears. Gerard took his hand off my shoulder. I resented it but was also thankful.
"I'm sorry, Gerard." I sobbed. "This wasn't supposed to happen. This is all my fault."
"Frank please, stop crying. I'm not going to tell."
I snapped my head towards him. "What?"
"I'm not going to tell anyone about you. I promise. He said innocently. He was sitting with his legs crossed. The moonlight hit his face in a way that made his already pale skin, glow a luminous light. His face was so innocent looking and it left me speechless.
I crawled back onto my bed and sat across from him. He wiped away the tears the were still running down my faces. He rubbed my cheek with his thumb, smiling as he stared at me. I felt his other hand move onto my thigh as he slowly leaned in. I fel woozy all of a sudden. My head began to spin. Then I started to wonder, did I really drink from him?
"Gerard?" I said, making him stop in his place. His eyes fluttered as I spoke. His cheeks began to become flushed. "How did you get the blood?"
He backed away a bit and smiled. "There was a bunch of packets of them in your freezer so I used those."
I cocked an eyebrow. "How many did you give me?"
He shrugged and smiled again. "Five or six."
That's when I realized he gave me my alcohol packets. That explained why I felt light. I gave him a bubbly smile and kissed his forehead. "Go to sleep. It's late."
He nodded and laid down next to me. I rolled over on my side so I wouldn't attempt to make more contact with him. Not that I didn't want to, I just didn't want to do something that he would regret in the morning. Within minuets, I was asleep and back in my own dreamland.
The next morning I woke up with Gerard laying on my chest. He had one arm, lazily wrapped around my waist. I sat there in peace as I watched his chest rise and fall slowly. I started to run my fingers through his hair, hoping it wouldn't wake him up. He just looked so peaceful when he slept. Eventually after a few minuets of playing with his hair, he stretched slightly and looked up at me. He smiled and sat up. He immediately leaned in and kissed me softly. His lips were sweet like candy and warm just like his hands, which were on the pillows next to me. He was above and kissing me softly. He slowly moved down my neck, giving me a feeling I had never felt before. I moaned softly as he sucked on my neck. He brought himself back up to my lips. I wrapped my arms around his neck. I felt his warm hand move up my shirt, holding my waist. I smiled as we kissed repeatedly. Just when he was about put his other hand inside my shirt, my phone began to ring. We both jumped at the sound and laughed. We decided to get up and answer it. I grabbed his hand and pulled him into the kitchen. I held his hand lightly like I had the night before, and just like he did, he gripped mine harder. I smiled and finally felt like something was mine. But there was a strange feeling that came along with it. As much as I wanted this, I knew, something was going to happen. I didn't know if it was good or bad, and that's what scared me the most.
