Ghosts In The Snow

A kick to the ribs made me double over and gasp for air,
"l-leave me alone n-" I was interupted by the bell, and the figure soon ran off. I never really got to see who it was but they were tall and muscular.
"FRANKIEE!!!" I familiar voice called over to me, I span on my heels to see who it was.
Bob, he ran up to me and playfully punched me on the shoulder "Didn't think you were goin without me, did you?!"
i shook my head and put my hands in my pockets carrying on walking to our form in an awkward silence. But I didn't dare break it.

at the end of the day the same annoying sound erupted from every corner of the school. The bell.
This is where small people like me, get squashed. I pushed my way through the corridors and walked out with my head down trying not to cause any fuss.
"There he is!!" A muffled voice called over, I turned round to see the same guy from earlier pointing at me and beckoning his mates closer to him. So much for not causing a fuss!
I ran quickly, dodging the busy crowds of people. I could hear their footsteps getting louder and quicker as they got closer to me, copying my movements. I ran into the woods, because I knew where I was going...seeing as I walked through here everyday. I knew almost every hiding place and exits there were.
Trying to not make a sound I stopped in a new little clearing, bending down to catch my breath. A twig behind me snapped and I sprung up and scanned the area. But nothing. It was probably just an animal...I hope.
Once again another twig snapped, but this time it sounded closer! I wasn't sticking around to find out what it was; I chucked my bag over my shoulder again and started to walk. The noises were following me, so naturally, I sped up until I was now walking at a quick speed not turning around once. I didn't know what was there! And to be honest...I didn't want to know either!

i unlocked the front door to my house and slammed it shut behind me. The first thing I did was go into the kitchen and make myself a strong coffee, taking my shoes off and slumping onto to sofa and turning the tv on with a huff.
a knock at the door interrupted my thoughts, making me jump. I checked the time, 5:42pm. I walked slowly to the door and opened it. But no one was there, I peered around the corners and still there was nothing. So I closed the door and sat back down, now even more confused.

First the forest...now this?
