There's no way I'm leaving you

Arisa and I sat in the art room talking until the bell rang, and it wasn't until then I noticed she was leaning against me. It actually felt nice. But She had a panicked tone to her voice as she spoke. We stood up and headed to our next class. Ari kept glancing up at me, her hands started shaking. "What's wrong?" "N-Nothing!" she sounded fidgety and panicked. Elisa and Frank were already in the classroom, Elisa was making fun of Fank's height again. "Aww look at the lovebirds!" Arisa teased. "Me and Mini man over here? I don't think so" Elisa spoke rolling her eyes. I let out a small chuckle and we sat down with the quarreling duo. "Uhhh..Eli can I talk to you for a second?" Ari asked, pulling her out of the classroom. The teacher was totally oblivious. "What's her problem?" Frank questioned. "I don't know."

~Arisa's POV~

"Dude what's your problem?!" Eli asked rubbing her sore wrist. "Sorry, but we need to talk, I'm freaking out." "Calm down! What's wrong?"

"Gee and I were talking and I asked about his dad and long story short, you know that war the demons and vampires had a long time ago?" I said rushed and panicked. "Yeah, why?" "Daddy killed Gerard's father." Elisa looked just about as shocked as I was. "Woah woah, hold the phone back up. You're telling me that He's the son of the Vampire king?" "Well duh?! But that isn't the problem! If he finds out the person who killed his father is none other than my father he'll hate me forever and I'll lose my best friend!!" I felt like crying. I didn't want to lose Gerard, he understood me. He was my only friend besides Elisa. "You have a crush on him don't you?" she asked blatantly. "What?! N-No, yes, maybe? I don't know. I guess I do." "Aww! That's so cute!"


"Shut up!" I blushed. "Let's just get back to class" I spoke turning towards the classroom door I heard Elisa holding back laughter as we returned to class. "everything okay?" the boys asked in unison. "Everything's fine!" I said holding back my worry. I still felt like I wanted to cry. Just the thought of him hating me made me upset.

~Time lapse~

Gerard and I walked into the parking lot.Mikey and Elisa were talking by the car. "Hey Gee! Hey Arisa!" Mikey chimed. "Hey Mikes!" Gerard said smiling. Elisa gave me the'smile before I embarrass you look' I hated when she did that. I gave the best fake smile that I could and spoke. "Elisa we need to get home it's my turn to cook dinner and you know how dad gets when he's hungry" "He acts like a giant 2yr old until dinners ready and we don't like dealing with it." Elisa spoke hopping into the car. "Yeah especially me, I'll see you tomorrow!" Gerard caught the door before I could close it. Grinned, slipped a peace of paper into my bag and closed the door. I was never so confused. When I got home I locked myself in my room. Elisa and I had separate rooms but sometimes she feels the need to sleep in my room. I opened the paper Gerard had slipped into my bag and my heart skipped a beat then went double time. The paper had a number on it and had the words call me written under it. Why was I so happy about this? Calm down Ari, it's just a number. I wanted to call him but I didn't something told me not to and I usually find myself in trouble when I don't listen to it so I didn't call him.

While I was making dinner I couldn't stop thinking of Gerard and his perfect smile, the way he blushed when people called me his girlfriend. I stopped there. Control yourself he couldn't possibly like me I mean we had a lot in common but I doubt he'd want me as a girlfriend. I finished dinner and waitited upstairs sitting on my bed for my father's arrival. My mind flitted back the my anxiety about Gee finding out who my father was. Most importantly my father finding out who Gee was. I can't let that happen he'd kill him as fast as he'd see him. I felt myself start trembling at the thought. Tears started running down my face. Suddenly my phone starts to ring. "Hello?" I answered, trying to make my voice sound as if I wasn't crying. "Hey Ari" it was Gerard, but I hadn't given him my number. "Hey Gee! Umm how did you get my number?" "Mikey gave it to me, Elisa gave it to him." 'Im gonna kill her..' I thought to myself. "Ari are you okay? You sound like you were crying." "Me crying? No! I'm fine!" I said nervously. I heard my dad come home. "Um Gee I'll call you later my dad's home! Bye!" I hung up. I was hyperventilating. "Who's this Gee you were talking to?" my dad said standing in the doorway. 'shit..' "Uh he's a friend from school!" I answered. "He? Are you two dating?" "dad no! He's just a friend nothing more, now dinner is ready if you want to eat." "Good, I'm starving" he spoke turning on his heel and walking downstairs to the kitchen. 'really dodged a bullet there. He can't find out' I thought before following him downstairs.
