Routine Turned Upside Down
~~~Mikey's POV~~~
Ray and I pulled over so he could change the tyre. God, we needed to move Headquarters closer to the inner city. I settled down in the passenger seat and closed my eyes.
"Mikey check we have no company."
I rolled my eyes and got out, leaning on the roof of the car.
"How does it take you so long? It's really hot Jet.. Hurry up. I wanna go home."
"Shut up whining, Kobra."
I scowled and rolled my eyes. The sun on my back was warm. My eyes flickered close. I leant against the car, content. I perked up, hearing the roar of a motor, scanning the horizon.
"Jet-Star we have company."
"Cover me Kobra."
I cocked my gun and aimed, taking the first bike out. A shot came from behind and I yelled out in pain as my shoulder exploded in pain. I slid down the car, clutching my shoulder.
"Jet, we have to go!"
"We can't without the wheel."
"WE'RE GONNA GET GHOSTED! I HAVE FAMILY BACK AT HEADQUARTERS!"
"Two fucking minutes."
I slowly pulled myself up and collapsed back into the passenger seat.
"KOBRA GET OUT!"
The car slammed forward and I screamed. The air bag popped out and I split my lip when I hit it.
"KOBRA! YOU FUCKING IDIOTS!"
I managed to get the door open and I crawled out. I lay there, letting out a scream as someone stood on my shoulder. I looked up at The Exterminator, tears streaming down my face.
"Well, well, boys. Let's get these two back to base. Get them in the van."
I was dragged by my bad arm, screeching in agony.
"LEAVE HIS ARM ALONE CAN'T YOU SEE IT'S DAMAG-"
I watched them gag Ray. He held me in his arms as the van started driving. I sat there nursing my shoulder.
"I'm sorry, Mikes."
"Just shut up."

I got dragged out the van, being lead in an opposite direction to Ray. I wanted to cry but I couldn't show weakness. I was handed over to The Exterminator and I whimpered. He led me into a room and gently pushed me onto the bed. I looked up at him, shivering. He knelt down in front of me and I stared at the ground. His hand pressed my chin up. My eyes widened as he kissed me before they flickered close, my lips pressing back against his.
