Later on that day
~Desiree~
Fuck, nearly time to preform again. At least this time I get to do it with Elijah but it's a battle not a duet. Elijah comes over and puts his arm around my shoulders. "It'll be fine princess." He tells me sensing my worry. "What if I fuck up on live tv?" I ask him. He just smiles and kisses my cheek softly. "Then I'll be there." He tells me just as he name is announced.
"First up on Hayley's team is the 18 year old heart throb from Nashville, Elijah Wood."The presenter says. Elijah walks onto the stage. Now it's my turn. "Against the 16 year old English goth girl, Desiree Lovett." I walk on to the stage and try not to notice all the people.

~Gerard~
She looks amazing. I feel my heart beat a bit faster. Her dark hair has been plaited and pulled away from her face and she is wearing black lipstick and a short black dress. Why am I so obsessed? The band start playing and Elijah starts off the song. Oh crap, it's a love song. Desiree and Elijah are staring lovingly into each others eyes and I feel the urge to throw up.

~Hayley~
I feel a stab of sympathy towards Gerard. Oh why did I pick a love song? It suits her though. If I pick Elijah will Gerard steal her before Chris or Jared? I think I have a plan. The song finished leaving Desiree and Elijah panting and looking into each others eyes. Finally Desiree ran to hug him and it was time for us to say how good it is. "That was something else, Hayley is going to have a hard time picking between you to." The presenter said.
"Yeah she is, personally I think Desiree was a tad bit better." Chris says.
"I've made my decision." I say before any other judge could say anything.
"I pick Elijah and hope Ger... someone steals Desiree." I announce.

~Gerard~
I know what she's doing. It's obvious she wants me to steal her.
"Okay well Desiree you are now available for a stea..." The presenter starts to say but I interrupt her by pressing my button. "Woah Gerard has decided to steal you how do you feel?" The presenter asked.

~Desiree~
I felt amazing. I don't have to leave the show! I can still win this and I'm with the judge I originally wanted "Thank you so much. I can barely think right now." I say before running into gerards arms and hugging him. He lifts my off the ground and spins me around.

~Elijah~
She's through! So am I. I hug her when she comes into to the waiting room and then without thinking kiss her full on the mouth. She pushes me away and points to the camera which was more than likely recording this moment and playing it on more or less every Americans tv. "Oh shit." I say.
