Let Me Teach You A Thing Or Two

I stand there waiting for him to come up and sing. I feel kinda bad putting him on the spot but then again not so much. This way I can look at him more. Okay scratch that idea. I never said that. That did not just happen.

"Um.. Alright, I'll come up and sing," He stuttered taking me out of my awkward mind of state.

"Rad," I respond with a smile to go along with it. He stands up and makes his way through the row. The guys from earlier try to hold back their laughs. Is he that bad? Or is it because I am putting him on the spot. Well we'll find out. He stands next to me and faces the class.

"Right, well what do you guys want me to sing?" He asks the class avoiding me, well I guess this is what I get. I search for an open desk in the front and sit in it. No one suggests anything so I speak up.

"Well Mr…." I leave a long pause hoping he'll answer.

"Way."

"Well Mr. Way, what do you want to sing?"

"Um.. I'll sing something original."

"Alright, when you are ready," I reply siting back in the chair.

He finishes singing and no one says a word. You could hear a pin drop. Someone starts clapping soon enough everyone was cheering. His face lights up and he bows. I stand up and clap along with them. I head over to him and extend my arm to tell him he can go sit down. He understands and heads back to his seat. His friends give him high fives.

"Well Mr. Way I believe that sums up that you actually can sing," I speak up over the class. Soon the clapping died down and I continued," That was a beautiful song and your voice is so original, I don't know why you didn't have your hand up instead of…"

"Mikey, Mikey Way," his brother speaks up.

"Thank you, Mikey. Instead of Mikey doing it for you," I direct towards Gerard.

"I don't know either," Ray spoke up. My mind begins to think of a beautiful idea.

"Actually this is a good idea," I think out loud. What if I got these guys to show their talents. That way I can say I helped with starting that amazing artist. YES!

"What is sir?" Someone speaks up. I look at the kid then at the clock on the wall. We have about 15 minutes left. Awesome. I walk over to the board then turn around. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7…..15. Alright cool 15 kids in totally in this class.

"Who can play the guitar? Doesn't have to be amazing but who can play?" I see a few hands go up. I turn around to write guitar on the board, "Alright if you can play come write your name under the word 'guitar'."

Seven kids walk up to the bored, including Mikey, Ray, and Gerard. They all sit down then I call out another instrument.

"Bass?" I write bass then about 6 kids walk up, Ray and Mikey again. Interesting.

"Drums?" Two kids walk up to the board.

"Vocals?" Gerard heads up with Mikey, Ray, a girl with majestic hair and a super tall dude.

"Okay, uh, piano?" Mikey, Ray, again the girl with awesome hair, and another dude walk up.

"Alright who hasn't gone up yet?" No one raised their hands and I observe the board. Hm… with that the bell rings. I spin around with a smile on my face.

"Right well goodbye for now class. I will see you all tomorrow or in the hall!" They get up to leave as I cut in, "Oh I would like to see Gerard after class." Everyone keeps exiting the room and Gerard walks up to my desk.

"You wanted to see me sir?" Oh my, you are very hot my friend. I mean you have some muscles, very beautiful eyes, and… wait WHAT AM I DOING?

"Uh.. Yes. I wanted to ask you why you thought you didn't have a voice? Or a good singing voice I should say."

"I don't know Mr. Iero, never thought I did. I would goof around in my room singing to like Green Day or Misfits but nothing more." THIS KID AS AMAZING TASTE IN MUSIC.

"I see, alright well tomorrow I want to do some vocal exercises. Is that alright?"

"Um.. Yeah. Well I better go before the bell rings," Gerard states as he starts to walk backwards towards the door.

"Right, right. Sorry don't let me get in your way." With that he runs out the door and off to his next class.

This kid is going to be the end of me I swear.

OKAY SO I REALLY DONT LIKE THIS CHAPTER AND IDK WHY. Maybe because I didnt really think about it I just wrote it. Also sorry its short, there will be more. And a semi plot twist about Gee.
