To the End
Clean Me Off, I'm So Dirty Babe
Frank woke up the next morning, his eyes widening with excitement. He quickly jumped out of bed and ran to his closet, fingering through his clothes until he found something he thought Gerard would like. He put on his skinniest black jeans, as well as his favorite shirt, and looked in the mirror at himself. His arms were fully showing, and he realized that last night was the first night in months that he hadn’t cut. He suddenly had the itching desire to see his own blood again and looked over to his bookshelf, where he had his razors hidden away. Just wait until tonight, Frank. It can wait until tonight. He told himself as he turned away to look for a hoodie that could cover his scars. He put on a black and gray hoodie to match the rest of his clothing and rushed down stairs, scarfing down his food as quickly as he could. He rushed out the door, his heart beating in his chest quickly as the adrenaline pumped through his veins. He walked to school, his short legs moving as quickly as they could without making him run as he beamed from ear to ear.
When he got to school, he sat under the tree, where he had seen Gerard sitting with Mikey before. He took out his iPod, scrolling through his music before putting his headphones over his ears and closing his eyes. He turned his music up as loud as it could go and relaxed. About a half hour passed before Gerard showed up and tapped Frank gently on the shoulder. Frank jumped slightly, looking up at Gerard and smirking.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you.” Gerard laughed as Frank stood up, pulling his headphones down around his neck and turning off his music.
“Yeah, yeah.” Frank said, smirking even wider. “So, where’s this bar?”
“Um, well it’s sorta on the other side of town… But I’ll drive us.”
“Wait, you have a car?”
“Yeah… Is something surprising about that?”
“No I just… I dunno.” Frank said quietly, feeling slightly embarrassed that he didn’t think Gerard would have a car. Gerard just shrugged and showed him the to his car. Frank slid into the passenger seat and shut the door behind him. “Wow… It’s really nice…” he said, looking at the shining leather seats.
“Yeah, I had to save up for awhile, stop smoking and all, it was pretty hard but I pulled it off.”
“Wait… you smoke?” Frank asked, turning to him.
“Yeah,” he said, getting out a pack of cigarettes from his glove compartment and offering one to Frank “Wanna try one?”
Frank looked at the pack for a minute, biting on his bottom lip as he took one nervously. Gerard lit it for him and he took a breath in and coughed it out. He wheezed slightly and Gerard reached over, rubbing his back lightly. Franks cheeks burned as he looked away, hoping Gerard wouldn’t see.
“Sorry, I should’ve warned you…” He said before pulling his hand away and starting up the car. “It sorta sucks the first time.”
“No, its fine, Gee.” Frank coughed out as he weakly smiled at him. He took another breath of smoke in as Gerard rolled down the windows of the car. Frank coughed slightly as he let the smoke escape his mouth, though he contained the wheezing as best he could. Gerard started up the car and drove across the small town, which really didn’t take long. Frank had more or less gotten used to the smoke in his lungs by the time he got the two pulled up at the bar. Gerard got out, closing the door behind him and waited for Frank to get out as well. Gerard led the giddy Frank inside and sat near the counter, leaving a seat open next to him.
“Come on, Gerard, you’re killing me here. You know how much shit I’ll be in if I’m found out?” the bartender groaned.
“It’s just this one friend, you can’t spare any extra booze?” Gerard protested.
“T-that’s okay… I don’t need any alcohol, I can just have like… water or something?” Frank said quietly.
“But Frank, where’s the fun in that?”
“I don’t need to get drunk, it’s fine, Gee.” Frank said as Gerard rolled his eyes.
“I guess someone needs to drive.” Said Gerard as the bartender passed him a drink which he quickly downed.
“Shall I open a tab?” the bartender asked
“You shall, sir.” Gerard said as he downed his next drink, already slurring slightly.
“Uh… Gee..?” Frank asked, slightly worried.
“Hey, kid, don’t worry about your friend. I give him the most alcoholic drinks we got, by his request, and he’s still not that used to alcohol yet, he’s only been coming in here about once a month and usually only has one or two since he doesn’t want to drive home too wasted.” the bartender said, trying to comfort Frank.
After about an hour Gerard was barely standing and Frank was having fun listening to him attempt to tell stories.
“Okay Gee,” Frank laughed after he finished one about god knows what “I think it’s time to go home now.”
“Come on Frankie~” Gerard said, scooting closer and putting his hand on Frank’s thigh “Just a little longer, please?”
“U-uh… I mean… I think you’ve had enough….” Frank stuttered.
“Aww…” Gerard pouted and got up stumbling towards the door. He started to fall over before Frank ran over and caught him, putting Gerard’s arm around his shoulders. Before they left, Gerard slammed about one hundred dollars on the counter. Frank opened the back door for Gerard to lay down in the back and as he laid down he grabbed Frank and pulled him on top of him.
“G-Gerard?!” Frank nearly yelled.
“Yes Frankie~?” Gerard whispered back as he grinned widely.
“What are you d-doing?”
“I need to thank you, Frankie~”
“F-for what?”
“You saved my life yesterday, you deserve something special.” he whispered into Frank’s ear, making him shudder.
“Bu-but Gerard… I-I-” Frank stuttered but was cut off by Gerard smashing his lips into Frank’s. Frank let out a small moan as he closed his eyes, his face going completely red as Gerard started to grind against him. “Mmph…~” Frank moaned into the kiss as Gerard sat up for a moment, Frank following him, keeping their lips glued together, closing the car door before laying back down on top of Frank, gently pulling up Frank’s shirt before Frank un-buttoned Gerard’s black shirt and helped him slip his arms out of the sleeves. Gerard gently pulled on Frank’s bottom lip, making Frank let out a louder moan as Gerard played with him, smirking widely. Gerard put his warm hands on Frank’s cold chest, making Frank shudder again.
“G-Gerard…” Frank moaned, pulling away.
“What, Frankie~?”
“You’re drunk, Gee… You’re making a mistake.”
“Why do you care? You seemed like you wanted it just a minute ago.”
“Because this is me taking advantage of you, and I don’t want to do that. I want you to actually like me back before we do this…”
“How do you know I don’t?”
“…I’ll believe you when you’re not drunk, Gee…” he said, getting up and putting on his shirt again. He wished he could be a bad person and continue kissing Gerard. He finally got what he wanted and he couldn’t take it, it was just wrong. Frank left his hoodie in the back and got out of the back seat, walking around the car to get in the front seat and take Gerard home. He had a driver’s license and knew how to drive, just had never gotten a car. Just as he started the car, Gerard sat up and looked to him as he tried to button his shirt.
“Frank,” he slurred “I can’t go home.”
