You're Beautiful To Me.

Selena's P.O.V.

Wow. I actually did it. I kissed Mikey. A guy that I've known for a day. I had been at Bellville High for seven hours and already kissed two different guys. That has to be a record of some kind. The only difference between the two kisses were, 1, when Gerard kissed me, I didn't kiss him back. And 2, kissing Mikey made me feel warm and fuzzy. Once our lips had touched, it felt like electricity was jolting through my body.

After we had kissed, I had to leave so I wouldn't miss the bus.
"What bus do you ride?" He asked while we were in the hall.
"Uhhhh" I reached into my bag and rummaged around for my information paper. "Number...... 17." I said after like, 20 seconds.
"No way!" He said with a grin.
"It's true. It says so right here." I pointed to a spot on my paper. We were at my locker at this point which was about four away from Mikey's.
"I ride that bus too!" He smiled. "The only bad part is that my brother rides it too. And Ray and Frank. But they really aren't that bad if they like you." He tried to fix his mistake of mentioning his brother again.
"It's ok. They don't bother me too much. And is Ray the dude with the fro?" He laughed at me a bit and then answered.
"Don't let them bother you and they'll get bored. It's how it always works. And yes Ray is the one with the big fro."
"Ok. Will you sit with me? I don't want to be alone." I asked.
"Yeah. Of course." I had never ridden a school bus before. Mom would always pick me up from school... But not anymore...

When we got onto the bus it wasn't packed but it also wasn't empty. At the back there were four seats. Gerard in the back-left one, Frank in the back-right one, Ray in the front-right one, and the empty one at front-left. Mikey ushered me into the empty seat and I sat by the window.
"Oh, would you look-y here guys!" Gerard called to Frank and Ray.
"Leave me alone, Gerard." I said without turning my head. His face would've ruined my happy moments with Mikey.
"Hey Mikey. You got a new girllllfriiiiieeeeend?" People around us turned to see. "And what about you, slut? You already have a boyfriend? On your first day? What a skank." Gerard teased. Frank and Ray giggled in the back. then suddenly it was all coming back. All creeping into my head, and I couldn't do anything to stop it. The accident. the move. Aunt Rosie. Nic and Trent. Everything. Suddenly I was having an anxiety attack. I grabbed Mikey's hand and tried to slow my breathing. I guess he saw me crying because he got really angry and his face turned bright red. He stood up and faced his brother.
"What the hell Gerard?! Why do you always do this? You make fun of every single person you see! You even make fun of your fucking BROTHER! If your going to keep doing this, then just leave me alone. I'm sick of your bullying!" Mikey yelled at his brother. Almost the whole bus was looking at us now. Frank and Ray stopped laughing a while ago and were now exchanging worried looks. Gerard looked shocked and speechless. Mikey sat back down and exhaled with a puff.
"Fine. I'm sorry, man." Gerard said with a roll of the eyes.

Mikey's P.O.V.

I was pissed. I was over the top.
"Fine. I'm sorry, man" I didn't even want to look at him. He disgusted me. I grabbed Selena's hand and held it close to me. She was still sniffling and wiping her cheeks. I turned her head to look at me.
"It's ok now." I said softly. I wiped some tears off her chin and put my face close to hers. "well be ok." And then I kissed her again. Maybe now my brother will be more respectful.

When Gerard and I got home I didn't even look at him. I just went straight to my room and locked myself in. I plopped myself on my bed and laid down to take a nap. I couldn't close my eyes because of everything that had happened. This morning with Gerard. Kissing Selena. Yelling at my own brother for a girl I just met this morning. Kissing Selena again. I was brought back reality by a knock at my door.
"What?" I threw a pillow over my face.
"Can I come in?" Gerard. The last person that I wanted to see.
"Go away, dude."
"Come on man. Just let me in. I said I'm sorry." I almost felt bad. I didn't say anything back. Just rolled over and closed my eyes.
