Mikey's P.O.V.

I had just finished putting on the last of my clothes when Selena's phone went off. She was still in the shower and I was curious, so I decided to check it. It was a message from some guy named "Trent".
"Hey babe. You haven't called me in a while. Is everything okay? We're still together, aren't we?" I was so mad. We just went through something special and then this "Trent" guy shows up asking if they're still together. I heard the shower turn off so I put her phone down and sat back down on the couch.
"Hey." She said when she reached the living room. The light gleamed off her wet red hair. She was wearing a black and white Metallica tee shirt with dark gray skinny jeans and a studded belt.
"Hey." I said without looking up from my phone.
"Is something wrong?" She asked.
"No." I shot back.
"Okayyy." She said, putting emphasis on the 'y's. Out of my peripheral vision, I could see her picking up her phone. She giggled and I took in a sharp breath. Then her phone rang. Must be "Trent" again.
"Hello?" She asked into the phone. Suddenly, the air was full of a high pitched squeal. My hands instantly dropped my phone and went up to my ears.
"SERIOUSLY?!" She screamed into the phone. I just continued staring at her jumping body with curious eyes.

Selena's P.O.V.

I finished getting dressed and walked out to the living room where I had left Mikey. He was fully clothed this time and balled up on the couch on his phone.
"Hey." I said to him.
"Hey." He said back. He seemed mad. I don't know how he could be, considering what just happened.
"Is something wrong?" I asked.
"No." Weird. He usually didn't give one word answers.
"Okayyy" I said back, raising one eyebrow. I saw my phone was lit up so I grabbed it to see who it was. I was half expecting Adam, considering he hadn't talked to me since I left. But it was Trent.
"Hey babe. You haven't called me in a while. Is everything okay? We're still together, aren't we?" Oh God. I forgot. We were still together! I was cheating on them! I quickly texted him back.
"About that. Look, you're a great guy. But I'm in NJ now. I don't think a long distance relationship is going to work." That was taken care of. Then out of no where my phone rang. I didn't even need to look at the phone number to know it was him. I picked up the phone anyways.
"Hello?" I said in an annoyed voice.
"Guess who's best friend is coming to visit during spring break!" It was Nic on the other end. I shrieked the loudest I could and she went along with me. Mikey cringed at the sound, but I didn't particularly mind.
"SERIOUSLY?!" I screamed. I couldn't believe it. Nic was going to come all they way to Ne Jersey from California just to see me. At this point I was jumping up and down. I could see Mikey watching me, so I stopped bouncing.
"Seriously! My mom is letting come by myself too! I mean, 17 is a pretty independent age, don't you think? Yeah I'm gonna stay in the fancy Hotel like, two blocks away from your new place." She boasted.
"Don't be stupid! I can just ask my Aunt if you can stay with us!" I said. I was almost positive that Aunt Rosie would say yes.
"Nah it's fine. I kinda wanna check out the hotel." Classic Nic. "But I will make sure to come over a lot to catch up!"
"Well you better. By the way, how's Adam?" I asked. I was kinda worried about him, considering he hadn't even talked to me.
"Oh, he's good. Still the sarcastic bitch he was when you left. Why?"
"Well, he hasn't talked to me since I left. Any idea why?" I asked.
"Well... He was really upset that you left. He kept rambling on about how you were destroying our group and how we couldn't replace you and how it's not going to be the same with just three of us." She said.
"Well, I am irreplaceable. Hey guess what."
"What?" She said without guessing.
"Trent thinks we're still together. I thought it was like an automatic break up when I said I was moving and couldn't do long distance." I said more softly.
"He's a mess without you. This is the first I've seen him cry. And I was there when he broke his leg skate boarding." I felt bad. I had broken his heart after we had gotten together when my heart was the broken one.
"I feel bad for him. But I moved on. I have a new boyfriend now." I smiled at Mikey and he smiled back.
"You skank! You've been in New Jersey for a week!" She shouted.
"No! He's really sweet and he's helping me get through school and um...Some... Other things that I have yet to tell you." I swallowed hard. I looked at Mikey and his eyes fell to his phone."But anyways I can't wait for you to come and meet my Aunt and Mikey. It's going to be awesome with you here." I said. We said our good byes and hung up.

Mikey's P.O.V.

"Don't be stupid! I can just ask my Aunt if you can stay with us!" She said to the other end. She was going to let a guy stay at her house? Who does that? A few seconds past and she spoke again
"Well you better. By the way, how's Adam?" Adam? Another guy? Really? God, how many guys did she know?
"Well, he hasn't talked to me since I left. Any idea why?" She asked the other person.
"Well I am irreplaceable. Hey guess what." I kinda wanted to hear it myself.
"Trent thinks we're still together. I thought it was like an automatic break up when I said I was moving and couldn't do long distance." She bit her lip. So there wasn't anything going on between them. He's just a delusional guy stuck on MY princess. I let out a sigh of relief.
"I feel bad for him. But I've moved on. I have a new boyfriend now." She smiled at me and I smiled back.
"No! He's really sweet and he's helping me get through school and um...Some... Other things that I have yet to tell you." I couldn't look at her when she mentioned her cancer. I just looked at my blank phone instead.
"But anyways I can't wait for you to come and meet my Aunt and Mikey. It's going to be awesome with you here." She and the other person said bye and hung up.
"Who was that?" I asked.
"My best friend Nic." Oh great. It was a guy. "She's coming over for spring break." Oh. It really was a girl. I was just getting worked up over nothing.
