Break for This

I guess I fell asleep 'cus when Gerard called me, I jumped up like a cat. I could hear him giggling behind me. Then he said.

"How were you in such a deep sleep it's only been 45 minutes".

"I don't even know" I said in that really deep wake up voice, meanwhile I smelled the food in the oven all the way from the living room and my stomach started growling.

I asked him what he decided to make but he said that he was going to blind fold me and make me guess. He does this all the time. I fail at it all the time. Not because he can't cook but because I am just bad at telling the difference in food. Hey, when i'm hungry I couldn't tell the difference between an apple and a peeled orange.

I must have said that last part out loud because I heard him laughing and a big smile spread across his face. Damn, he is soo cute. I sat at the bar counter we had for a table. He came up behind me and put on the blind fold. Then he kissed my cheek and went to get the food from the oven.

He platted the food and put it in front of me. I could feel the steam rising from the freshly cooked food. Gee quickly got 2 forks and came to sit next to me.

"Okay, you ready, here what does it taste like" He said putting a fork full of food in my mouth.

I tasted the food and almost instantly knew I would fail at this. But I knew I couldn't eat blind folded and not end up in the hospital, so I took a wild guess.

"Hmm...it's cheesy, and soft with a bit of spice in it"? I knew he would say I was completely off.

"Correct, good job babe, you got it!" He said to my surprise.



Gerard's P.O.V


I was really surprised when Frank got his guess right. I mean I love him and all, but he isn't always the greatest at guessing food. I felt really bad about over reacting to the art supplies situation. So while he was watching t.v on the couch and I was making lunch I decided to text my brother Mikey. I ask if he was busy today and he said no. Then I asked if he would do me a favor and meet me and Frankie at the park with all our friends at about 6. I had a little surprise for Frankie. He texted me back saying he would do it and I got a big rush of excitement.
It was going to be AWESOME.

When I saw Frankie take off the blind fold, I got a text from Mikey saying that everyone would be there and he got my 'special' thing for Frankie.Then I saw Frankie looking at me and I quickly hid my text and put my phone back on the counter top. I looked up at him and smiled, he did the same. When he finished chewing what was n his mouth he asked me.

"So what are you going to do for the rest of the day"?

"I was thinking we could go to the park later on" I responded.

"Sure" He said taking another bite of his food.
