The rest of the day went by as normally, except that Alice couldn't shake the nerves of meeting Gerard later, why did he have to have a room for himself? That only made her more nervous every time he had to go see him. She spent the rest of the day trying to figure out how she was going to behave around him, and she finally decide something, for the first time she was going to let things flow. If she had and undeniable attraction to him, then fine so be it, or maybe she was going to fall on the side of being disgusted by him, then so be it too. The thing was like it seemed to be two Gerards, one fun and caring, and the other evil and egocentric...

It was already 5pm and Alice decided to take a shower, Linda saw her suddenly standing up from her bed.

Linda: Are you going somewhere, Alice?

Alice: Um yeah, I have to be at Way's room by 6 to work on Professor Stump assignment.

Linda: Oh, god. Please don't let that prick cross you.

Alice: Don't worry Linda, I never do. - she said winking an eye to her.

After showering, Alice started doing her hair and make up in the bathroom's mirror. She was feeling kind of guilty, she hadn't told Linda anything about what was happening between her and Gerard, Alice knew that if she did Linda will support her no matter what, after all she was her best friend and she gave the best advice ever. But it was like something was keeping her from it, it was like if she told anyone it would become real, so she would become more vulnerable.

Alice paid more attention to her hair and make up as she usually would do, if she was going to war, she was at least going to look good. She thanked god that when she got out, there was only Dallas taking a nap. They would question her, especially Linda.
Alice chose black skinny jeans, floral combat boots and a cute Iron Maiden t-shirt, she looked at herself in the mirror, smiled briefly at her reflection and took her bag from her bed, she still didn't know what the assignment was and what would she need, she should have asked Linda, but she was so nervous that she forgot.

Finally she started walking through the hall to Gerard's room, the sweet sound of guitar was echoing through the hall, it was beautiful, she wished she knew where it was coming from. The sound intensified as she was walking, was it coming from Gerard's?

She stopped in front of his door, and pressed an ear on the door to hear what Gerard was playing. It was a beautiful melancholic ballad. She thought for a moment that she had heard it before. Suddenly the sound stop and Alice quickly stoop up straight and knocked the door.

Gerard: coming! - said Gerard from the other side.

Soon Alice was facing him.

Alice: Hi -said Alice simply

Gerard: Hi -responded Gerard, not caring to pretend like he wasn't checking her out- you look beautiful.

Alice blushed madly, she wasn't expecting that.

Alice: u-um, thank you. -said Alice placing her hair behind her ear, feeling like a teenager again.

Gerard: Please come in, I've been working on the song -said Gerard moving to the side, so she could get inside.

Alice: The song?

Gerard: Oh, yeah. I forgot you didn't know what the assignment is, I thought you would know by now. -he said smirking.

Alice: Well, clearly I don't. - said Alice raising an eyebrow

Gerard just laughed briefly.

Gerard: Okay! geez, no need to get sassy with me. What if I just show you? -he said smiling sweetly.

Alice said nothing and just kept looking at him as he sat on his bed at put his guitar on his lap. The beautiful melody from moments ago, fill the room. Soon enough Gerard's beautiful voice started singing along with it.
