Gerard started laughing like a maniac. "Your secret's safe with me, Frank."

"Thanks."

He smiled innocently. "Man, I thought you were gonna spill your life story on me. Unless anime is your life...is it?"

"No, it's a hobby," I object. "How about you, yourself?"

"M-my life story?"

"Yeah."

He seemed hesitant at first. "You'd call me an idiot if I told you."

"Try me."
