You're Never Just A 'Nobody'

I wake up with the sudden urge to vomit, I stumble out of bed to retrieve some painkillers, already seeing Maggie at the kitchen baisin, throwing up the remains of last night.

"I feel like fuck." She manaeges to croak out. Her voice is low, and she sounds like as if she's going to die any minute now.

"Eh, I don't feel that bad. Just a killer headache, that's all." I say, walking over and grabbing some tablets. I place them in my mouth, and raise a glass of water to my extremely dry lips. The water washes the tablets down.

"You barely drank anything. All I saw were you and a guy talking-" She pauses, turning her head around to look at me "- who was he anyway? Seemed pretty cute in the state I was in" She asks, curiously with a bit of a grin on her face.

"Oh, uh-" I fumble upon my words "- J-just a guy I met in my art class, no biggie." Trying to act as normal as possible to pull it off.

"Really?" She didn't sound convinced. Oops.
"He didn't look like 'some guy', I was watching you know" Pushing the conversation even more. Ugh.


"Okay! Fine whatever! His name is Gerard Way. What about him?" I ask her in a demanding tone.

Her face goes pale. She stuffins up. What does she know that I don't?

"Ava, listen to me right now, do not, I REPEAT, do not hang out with him, just ignore him okay? He's a total player."

"Id defenitly play him." With a huge smirk on my face while saying that.
She looks over at me with a scowl.

"No Ava, please. Just don't, okay? He's bad news, messes around with your feelings. Do you hear me? DO NOT get friendly with Gerard Way. By the way, him and Serenity are a on and off thing, I saw you last night, you should probably be worried."

And with that, she walks away to get dressed and take her class.
Im left with the thought of Gerard, breaking my heart.
