You're Never Just A 'Nobody'

After that night we spent together, things only got better. I would oftenly stay over Gerard's place and every night we would spend hours being intimate and every morning for the last 5 days he's been bringing me breakfast in bed.
Serenity was out of the picture. Gerard wasn't drinking anymore. My art study was running smoothly.

Everything was perfect.
We were perfect.

I yet again wake up in Gerard's arms, my body tangled in with the sheets. My eyes open, it's early. I stumble out of bed and put on some clothes, then walk out to get my own breakfast.

I make my usual breakfast; tea, toast and some bacon. After I finish my food, Gerard still hasn't woken up. I use this time to snoop around his dorm.
Yeah, maybe I'm slightly curious.

Quietly, I open his wardrobe door, clothes, clothes and more clothes appear in sight. I ramble through his shelves and actually find some of his older art books. Some from highschool even. I flick through them to find some different art styles, but mostly comic characters and and designs.

I find another sketch book, this one doesn't look older than the others, more recent actually. I look behind me to see Gerard still sleeping, he looks like a puppy that's safe with it's mother.

I open the book to find not comic designs, but sketches of me.
Me.
Okay. I guess it's not that creepy because we're dating. And have been for 8 weeks now..
But the fact that he has te correct amoung of the casual freckles laid across my face is quite impressive.
I continue to flick through the book, more sketches of myself. Finished or unfinished.

I hear a groan come from Gerard and quickly out the book back in it's original place. I look over to see Gerard with his eyes open, just looking at the ceiling. He notices my disappearance and looks around curiously. When his eyes lay on my body, he smiles. He stumbbles out of bed and makes his way over to the bathroom. I quickly put everything back under the piles of piles of clothing. I walk over to his comic book collection and slightly shriek when I find my favorite series.

"God Ava, calm down. You're such a geek" Gerard's arms wrap around my waist as he walks into the room, obviously noticing my fangirl over his comics.

"I'm the nerd? Gerard Way, look at the amount of comic books you own. I like certain types of comics as well, take it or leave it."

"Take it" He says, spinning me around and kisses my lips softly but passionate. "I love you."

I freeze when he says those words. I pull away and stare at him, still trying to comprehend his words. He didn't give me any warning and I guess I'm just completely taken back.

"You l-love me?" I ask, my voice shaking.

"I do," He takes both my hands in his, "Take it or leave it"

"Take it." I reply, flinging myself back onto him, "I think I love you too". His lips meet mine and we stand there sharing our love with each other.
When he pulls away, his smile never leaves his face,

"Well then, I best go tell my friends about how secretly geeky my girlfriend is and that she loves me." He says, laughing.

"Are you embarrassed?" I ask, chuckling dryly too,

He shakes his head in response.
"No. Not at all, I'm glad that I love you, and now I know that you love me it feels as if my life is complete." He says, coming back down to meet my lips, which I gladly allow.

"Far from your life being complete Gerard, far from it."

"Not when I have you, Avalon." His lips come crashing down on mine, an one thing leads to another, it's a make out session in Gerard's bedroom.

I love Gee, he loves me.
