Burn Bright

*************** 2 Weeks Later***************

"Are we almost there?" I asked getting bored with the long car ride.

"Were down the street."

"Yay!"

"You just saw him yesterday and for almost two weeks you've seen each other every day. Whats the big deal?" Carly asked as we pulled into Gerard's driving way, I was nearly jumping out of my seat.

"He's my bewst fweind. Duh." I told her.

She rolled her eyes at me then came over to my side of the car and let me out. As soon as she set me down on the sidewalk, I ran up to Gerard's front door and knocked on it with Carly walking up behind me. Gerards mommy answered the door with a smile on her face.

"Why hello Kasey." She greeted me.

"Hi! Is Geward here?" I asked holding my hands together.

She laughed, "Yes, he's up in his room."

"Yay!" I yelled as I ran into their house and up the stairs. I had been over enough times to know where his, and his little brothers rooms are.

Gerard was playing with his blocks when I opened the door. When he saw he a great big smile broke out on his face and he ran over to me and hugged me.

"Kasey!" He yelled.

"Geward!" I yelled back as we hugged.

"Wanna help me build a castle?" He asked.

"Sure." I said then we right into building.

We kept building until we ran out of blocks, after we had built everything we could think of we moved on to watching movies in his room. We were both curled up on his bed with his blanket around us with his lights off to make it look better.

"Kasey?" Carly said opening the door and coming in, "It's getting kinda late, we need to go home."

"Aww." Geward and I said at the same time.

"Can she sleep over?" Geward asked.

"Yeah! Can I sleep over?" I asked Carly.

"I have to ask both of your mom's but I will." Carley said then shut the door.

"Carly isn't your mom?" Geward asked.

"No, she's my nanny and my best fwiend."

His face fell.

"Gee? Whats wrong?" I asked holding his hand.

"I.... I thought I was your best fwiend." He said not looking at me.

"You are." I laughed, "My best boy fwiend. Carly is my best girl fwiend." I told him and he got a huge smile on his face and hugged me.

"You're my best girl fwiend to!" He said, "And Ray is my best boy friend." He told me.

"Who is Ray?" I asked.

"Ray is in my class, he rweally likes to paint and-" He was cut off by the door opening.

"Gerard, your mom is okay with Kasey spending the night and I just got off the phone with your mom," Carly said pointing to me." She said it was fine so I'm gonna go home and get your clothes okay?" She said.

"Okay, bye!" I said running over to her and giving her a hug, she hugged me back then left.

Gerard kept telling me about his friends he met in class and then we went right back into watching movies. I couldn't tell him about my other friends because besides Carly and Sean I didn't have any. Carly came back not to long later with all my clothes and things I would need to make it through the night like my teddy bear. When she left Gerard's mom fed us spaghetti and then made us go to bed. Since we were small enough to fit in his bed she let us sleep together. We were small enough to both fit but we were pushed right up against each other, to be more comfortable in bed, Gerard wrapped his arm around me. We both closed our eyes to fall asleep but we both snapped them open when a bright flash went off.

"Sorry guys," Gerard's mom said holding a camera, "You two are just so cute I couldn't resist." She laughed then walked away and we both fell asleep.
