Burn Bright

After I got off the phone with Carly I stayed in my car until I saw the lights in my parents room go off; indicating they had gone to bed. So it was safe to go in my house with being yelled at by my mother. I quietly crept into my room and started packing some things, like all of my clothes that I really liked and makeup and other things like that. I had just zipped up one of my three bags when Sean walked in carrying a plate of food and a glass of water. He set them down on the desk in my room and stared at the bags.


“I can explain.” I said.

“No need, Carly told me. And she told me of your plan.”

“Ok, thanks. But I have a question, why are you helping Carly and I.”

“Carly wanted to be the one to tell you but I guess I beat her to it, were engaged.”

“Congrats!” I said standing up to give him a hug.

“Thank you princess. Now eat and get some sleep, I suggest you call Gerard as well, first thing in the morning were going to the bank, it opens at 7am so I will wake you up before that.”

“Again, thank you.” I said and gave him another hug.

“Anytime.” He said before he walked out of my room.

I pulled out my phone to call him, but before I dialed him, I saw it was nearing 1:30 in the moringng. Who cares? I called him up and he answered on the 3rd ring.

“Do you know what time it is?” He asked, he sounded like he was half asleep.

“There is a chance I’m going to be kicked out of my house tomorrow and if that happens can I leave a bunch of my clothes and money at your house in case that happens?” I asked really quickly.

“Whoa, whoa, whoa. You might get kicked out? Why?” He asked sounding more awake.

“I’ll explain tomorrow, but can I?”

“Yeah, sure. You know if you need a place to stay, my door is always open.” He offered.

“Thanks. Okay, I’m gonna go to bed now, night.”

“Goodnight, I love you.” I don’t know why but this time when he said he loved me, it sounded different from any other time he has said it to me before. It made my heart warm up.

“I love you to.”

I know its kinda short but my laptop is acting really weird and I have no idea when it's gonna restart itself again so yeah.
