Gerard's POV

"Me too...but...I'm still here!" I smirked and opened my arms in a Here-I-Am sort of way. "I hope anyway..." I mumbled to myself, pinching my arm just to make sure. Earning one of franks small cute giggles.

"I can see that..." frank said laying a gentle kiss on my head.

the doctor that operated on me approached us and asked to speak to frank alone, the doctors face looked sad as he took off his cap as he walked out with frank.

Franks POV

"What's wrong doc?" My face dropped

"Mr way...he...the wound may have punctured one of his major organs...the damage...it might be too much to fix..." My eyes widened and filled with tears.

"w-what do you mean..."

"There is a chance Mr Way won't make it...were going to have to move him to an intensive care unit..." The doctor sighed and scratched his neck "I'm sorry..."

I couldn't move, but tears stained my cheeks, after a while I simply nodded and walked back to my seat next to Gerard who's face had gone pale like he's seen some sort of ghost.
i moved my hand onto his and looked into his lifeless eyes.

"I'm sorry I couldn't help you geebear..." I said shakily, trying to hold back tears.

"It wasn't your f-fault..." Gerard's voice wash cracking up "I can't die...not now" his arms swung around my neck and he wept into my shoulder for 5 minutes straight without stopping. Which was alright because I was crying too. I hated seeing him like this, helplessly a stood him up and walked him to the desk of an intensive care unit.

this was it.

he might never go home again.
