I think I can speak for the majority of us MCR fans when I say that we know Frerard is not real. It is merely a means of expression for fans and a way to bond with others of similar tastes. Any pairings on this site that are not real are acknowledged as fake. It is something that fans hung onto after the first sign of it. I cannot speak for those die-hards out there who really believe it, but we know and accept that the men are all happily married, and we support their relationships completely. All of this is just for fun, not to be taken seriously.
