Beautiful Distraction

-Rose POV-

"Come on Rose, we're leaving." Gerard said to me. It had been a few days since our fight and we hadn't spoken since. I had spent most of my time with Brendon around town, making love and watching movies while also avoiding Frank as much as possible.
" I said I'm staying." I replied firmly.
" listen sweetheart, you don't have a say on where you get to go. Where I go, you follow. You are mine."
" I am a living being who has a right to go where they want to go. Listen, I'm tired of always being used! For years now all you've done is use and sell me. You think I like sleeping with a variety of men that you choose for me?"
" You better be happy to be fucking alive. In that apartment room years ago I could have killed you right then. I knew you were helpless but I gave you a home..."
" One I never wanted!" I yelled at him, echoing throughout the house.
"You're on thin ice missy." He growled.
"Go to hell..." I relplied. " I can't believe I even considered sharing a life with you. I thought that when we ran away together I would get the life that I have always wanted and deserved. But oh boy was I wrong. Ever since you've came into my life, all you've done is used me!"
"shut you mouth"
"I don't even see why you want me to fucking come with you, with your pretty looks and leather jackets you could easily sweep any gullible innocent teenager off her feet."
"I said shut the hell up." He looked as of he was about to explode with anger.
"I've always just been a way to make money and get off, and always will be to you. Atleast Brendon treats me with the respect I deserve."
Neither of us spoke but he approached me slowly until his face was inches away from mine. " you wanna know why I want you to come with me?" His hand caressed my left cheek and he softly pressed his lips to mine. Something was there. Those feelings that I had developed for him egnited and I felt a warm feeling deep in my chest. He pulled away and said, " I'm fucking in love with you," my heart began to flutter, " but since you want to stay here so badly and after that scene, no way youre coming with me." He approached the front door and turned the knob opening it slightly. " you got what you fucking wanted. I hope you're happy, Rose." He spat leaving and slamming the door shut. I swore I felt my heart shatter into one billion pieces.
