Just Sleep
Hide When The Sunlight Dies -Part One
I felt better when Gerard changed his mind about coming over. I really like him, but I needed my space. I'm glad he can respect that. He's really good at giving me my time and space when I need it. Almost like he could feel it...
I bit my lip at the spring wind, sweeping my chocolate locks out of my face, moving it above my shoulders. I smiled at memories of my mother.
Her favorite season was spring. Her smiles shined brighter, her laughs were more genuine and her eyes, her green blue eyes, gleamed whenever the sunshine kissed her skin. I'd find her in the front lawn, watering and planting. Her touches were warmer too...
I snapped out my thoughts when I found myself at my old front door, holding onto the doorknob. The door was unlocked. I stepped in and felt a wave of emotion. The house was dark. The only light that hit the walls was from the windows. It gave off a melancholy feel and it made me feel uncomfortable.
"Frankie..." I heard a whisper that made me jump an my stomach turn. "Frankie..." It said again. The voice was closer but couldn't recognize it. I saw a shadow shoot across the only light in the living room.
"Who's there?" I ask softly. My stomach turns at least five times one way, and another five the other way.
I was answered by silence. The shadow swept across me quickly, send shocks and goosebumps all over my body. I gulped hard. Cold air brushed against my body. I felt faint. The window shutters slammed down, pushing out any sunshine and leaving the house, dark.
"Frank..." I heard the voice again. I could peice together that it was a girl, and an unknown one at that.
"What?" I asked quietly. "Who are you?"
The unknown moved my hair back and leaned into my ear "Your Worst Nightmare..."
*Crash*
The moment Frank felt scared, I knew she was here.
How did she know I was here? She was sent to hell for a fucking reason. She's not allowed to leave.. I thought.
I ran until Frank's fear felt stronger within me. It lead me to his old house and she had him. I kicked the door down, only to find Frank, unconscious, on the ground. Someone was dragging him, it was her, it was Helena.
"What the fuck are you doing here?" I hissed. Her jet black hair swept across her pale, pale face, revealing red shadows underneath her gray, lifeless eyes.
Her gray lips curled, "How pleasant to see you Gerard, how have you been?"
