Gerard Way In Pokemon

Gerard answers his phone to hear a familiar voice.
"Gerard is that you?"
"Yes this is Gerard"
"Oh man I missed you so much, its Frank!"
"Frank! How have you been, I arrived in Vermillion City not to long ago now"
"Thats amazing, listen you have to visit me soon, I am helping a fellow gym leader rebuild his gym right now on Cinnabar Island, but I shall be back in fuchsia city by the morning. Call me then"
"Ok sure, have fun, bye!"

Gerard was so happy to hear from Frank and happier that by morning he would be able to talk to him like they use to. Gerard paid the chef for the wonderful clam soup.
"Do you have a umbrella? Or at least a raincoat?" asked the chef as Gerard nearly opened the door to leave. At first he had no idea what he was on about, then he stared out the window, it had gotten very dark and it was raining. The time had gotten away from him and he never noticed it was raining at all.
"Ah no actually" Gerard replied
"Well here you can take this" the chef generously offered a umbrella to Gerard.
"Oh thank you so much! Your so kind. Thanks again, bye!" Gerard left the diner with a smile. He looked up and through the rain he could see the name of the place ~ Henry's Diner. Henry must have been the Chef he thought. He walked off into the night, he pulled his backpack off his shoulders and opened it up, he pulled out his map of Kanto and a flashlight. Turning the flashlight on he could see the map clearly, all he had to do was follow route 13, 14 & 15 then he would be there. So he set off out of Vermillion City and onto route 13. Then out of now where a wild Bellsprout appeared! Gerard knew how to take care of this!
"Magcargo, Famethrower go!" Gerard commanded his pokemon. Straight away without any resistance Magcargo used flamethrower and burned the Bellsprout badly, it soon fainted and with that, Magcargo won!
The look on Gerard's face was priceless, a look one could only have if they purely loved something so much it hurt, thats why he was so loyal to Magcargo and why Magcargo was just as loyal and willing back.

As they travelled along they came across two trainers that were on route 14 & 15, they were both water-type trainers, so Gerard could deal with that easy as his Tropius was ready to battle. Tropius was also very special to him, because a professor from Johto, Professor Elm gave a egg to him for a celebration of Gerard being a pokemon trainer for 1 year. Gerard loved the egg like a mother and watched Tropius grow up as a baby.
By 3:00am Gerard was finally in Fuchsia city. He obviously would not go and find Frank now so he stayed in a hotel. So many friendly people already he thought. Maybe they knew he was from somewhere else he wondered. He slept in that day until 9:00am.
"Oh no, Frank is probabaly waiting for me!" Gerard threw off the sheets and had a shower as he knew he smelt a bit from walking in the rain and mud. After getting dressed he packed his stuff away and made the bed. He left his room he stayed in and jumped in the elevator. Another person was in there, except they were covering there face.
"Nice day today after it raining last night huh?" Gerard tried to make small talk with the stranger, but this person was not as friendly as the majority. Gerard could not make out if it was a male or female. He turned back and faced the door, feeling like he was being watched. The door opened and he felt like he could breathe again. He quickly stumbled out of the elevator and into the main lobby leaving the stranger just to stand there, not moving. He turned back to look again at the him or her, when he did the door closed and the stranger went back up the elevator with no one else. He got a bit worried, but very suspicious too. Why would they want to just hide themselves in there without anyone else and just basically stalking anyone who went in or out. He went to the front desk and checked out, handed over the keys and waved goodbye.

He left for the Fuchsia City Gym, when he arrived out the front, he noticed the gym was large and purple, he knew why, because Frank was a poison-type pokemon trainer. Gerard was not sure if he could actually beat Frank if he ever wanted to challenge him. Usually he was pretty confident, or at least did not doubt himself, but with Frank, he was pretty tough, and he does not only use poison, he uses all types, but in the gym he uses poison.
But Gerard was here to see the friend side of Frank, not the tough battle side to him.
He opens the door of the gym to find a unsual, surprise.
