Everything Will Be Ok

***Taylor’s POV***
I began to shiver violently from the cold, breezy air as I stepped out of my car and waited to meet the mysterious man. The area was dark as dawn had finally approached. I wonder where he is. I thought to myself as I stood there alone with only one street light to lighten up the night sky. I glanced back down at my watch. He was supposed to have arrived 10 minutes ago. I sighed as I finally decided to head back to the car. It was obvious this was all a scam. As I headed down the dark path I bumped into a tall, dark figure. I brought my head up to see a face only lighten up by a single light of a cigarette. “You came…” The familiar voice sent the hairs on the back of my neck to stand up. “Nathan?” He chuckled softly. “So are we gonna go through with this or not?” He replied as he was now holding the cigarette between two of his fingers. “Go through with what?” I croaked out. “I thought we had a deal? You know…You give me the money and I tell you where your little boyfriend is…” He then instantly clutched his hand onto my wrist. “Nathan get away from me!” I shrieked. “You didn’t come here to make a deal with me…you came to hurt me again!” I cried. “Is that what you think?” He asked sounding almost hurt. “Nathan you are a liar, nd I bet you have no idea where Gerard is!” I yelled, trying to pull away from his grasp. “I know exactly where he is…and if you don’t give me the fucking money now, then you will find him in the morgue once I’m done with him!” Tears began to flow down my frostbitten face. “Nathan, I don’t have that kind of money! I told you.” I whimpered. “Well you better or else you are going to really regret it!” He threatened. “But I don’t!” The familiar angry look had returned into his eyes. “You fuckin asked for it!” He yelled as he hurled me hard onto the ground causing me to hit the back of my head. “Ow!” I cried in agony. He then kicked my side as he finally yanked me off the ground and dragged me over to his car. “Nathan.stop.please.” He ignored me as he then opened the side door and threw me into the passenger’s seat. He then hopped in right next to me and started the car. “If you say a word I will kill you!” He hissed. I nodded in complete fear. As we were now driving onto the highway, he began to drive faster and faster. “Nathan slow down you are gonna make us crash!” I screamed. “What did I just tell you?!” He yelled back at me. “I’m sorry I’ll stop talking…”After a few minutes of him driving through the carpool lane, I began to hear the sound of police sirens. I sighed in relief as I knew that I would actually come out safe. As I began to see the lights of the police car approach closer, I turned to face Nathan. “Fuck...” He mumbled under his breath. With that he hit his foot hard on the gas pedal as we continued to swerve onto the busy road. I held tight to my seat as a sudden rush of adrenaline came when the car drove straight into a street light. The air bag quickly hit hard against my body as I could no longer hear my surroundings and my vision began to become blurry. I weakily lifted my head up to observe what had just happened, when a black SUV collided right into the side of the vehicle. My breaths began to shorten as all turned black. The last voice I heard came from the outside. “Call an ambulance. We’re running out of time.”
